What a beautiful day trip this is. Beautiful views looking across the gold coast from the top of Tambourine Mountain where hang gliders take off from, plenty of sights for all the family to see as well as wineries and liqueur tastings.

I have traveled extensively and this stretch of beach beats plenty others I have seen, including Santa Monica, Hoi An, and others. If you are escaping the colder climates of Australia and beyond, this beach will be all you need to feel fantastic. Beautiful clean sand, gorgeous rolling surf, superb sunrises and moonrises, all patrolled by Australia’s famous surf life savers. Ideal for romantic strolls along the beach. Don’t forget to swim between the red and yellow flags, and bring your sunscreen and hat. Who says there is nothing to do? Just enjoy the world class beach and stunning vistas.

While holidaying at the Gold Coast we had the opportunity to go shopping at Pacific Fair, it had a range of tremendous and vast range of named stores and my favorite a massive food court to tingle your trate buds. Great place to kill some time and your pocket.

Loved this walk. I would love to walk it every morning as it follows the sea. Just watch out for the bicycles especially those who don't ring their bells.

Sea World

Visited with our kids aged 10 and 7. It was a fantastic day. We came in May, which is a good time to avoid the crowds. We didn't have to queue for more than a couple of minutes for any of the rides and we had no trouble getting into all the attractions and shows. The downside is that some of the rides and attractions were closed for maintenance. We particularly enjoyed: - The Storm Coaster ride - The dolphin show - Shark Bay - The penguins - The jellyfish - The stunt show There is so much to see and do. We weren't able to get it all done in a day. We were staying at the resort next door and had unlimited entry, so we had another half day to get around the things we missed. If you only have a day, be very targeted and deliberate in what you want to see and do. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it.

We bought a 7 day super pass for us 2A, 2C (8 and 11yo) and had a blast. We came 3 times over the 7 days and the kids enjoyed many rides and attractions. The park was very quiet compared to previous years due to border closures but the crew worked hard to make guests enjoy the day. Coming from SA we don’t get the chance to do theme parks except when on holidays so it was a real treat. The kids loved the Wild West Falls, Road Runner roller coaster, Bat Wing and Justice League rides, and the Stunt show and Yogi Bear shows were lots of fun! While the food options were limited, with park numbers so low it was understandable that not all outlets were open. We loved the merchandise deals with the buy 3, get 1 free Tshirts, we stocked up on clothes and beach towels and even had a few freebies thrown in. While some rides were closed (We were especially looking forward to Scooby Doo), overall there was plenty to do and enjoy. The ride closures are on the website so we knew in advance what to expect. One of the days a storm and lightening was coming in so some rides shut due to this which was reasonable due to the safety risks. It will be good when the borders reopen so the park’s can operate normally, but we took full advantage of no line wait times which was to our advantage this trip and were able to go on rides multiple times over and over. We must make mention of the cast member who plays the Joker - what a riot! He had us in stitches!! I can’t wait till next year when my daughter will be tall enough to ride the DC Rivals Hyper-coaster - it looks amazing!! (I should have snuck on without her hahahaha)
