Just returned home from an evening at Barleens Dinner Show. The food was delicious,
the service excellent, and the musicians/singers are multi-talented. It was "Season's Best 2017-2018, and they definitely delivered on this title.
A wonderful entertaining evening so very enjoyable, and worth the money. Saturday will be the last show for the Season, but definitely worth seeing !!

This trail started easy... gonna call that Level 1. From there to a Level 2, intermediate hike. Only did the first mile. Someone coming down said we were only halfway and the rest was steep... I'm thinking Level 3 lol. Going to try again to get to the top. Great hike for me. If you're in shape, it's probably a decent 2 mile uphill workout. Very pretty!

The incredibly maintained condition of this course, along with the magnificent views that occur on both 9's, created one of the best golf experiences of our lives (and we travel for golf A LOT!). This course is a must-play for golf enthusiasts that travel in this area of Arizona. Well worth the trip from the Scottsdale area.

We did a short, leisurely walk. We hadn't planned on doing a hike. We just wanted to drive out there. It was absolutely stunning, but it was totally ruined by VERY RUDE PEOPLE not cleaning up after their dogs!! Some would pick up, but then leave the bags behind! We must have seen at least 10 piles. We were so very disappointed. Here we are in God's country & people have to ruin it for everyone else. I'm a huge dog lover, but I always pick up after my dog.

This was our first visit to the Superstition Mountain Wilderness. We only had about 3 hrs for a hike since we were traveling to another part of Arizona as well on this trip. We only went to the Saddle of Peralta Trail and I think the Trail went on another 1 mile after that. But it was a really good first impression of the Superstition Mountains. Our Dog also enjoyed the Hike. Bring enough water to cool down your dogs since it was already fairly hot at 10:00 AM in April. We will be back for more hiking and exploring!

Driving down Route 88 - we came across the small town of Tortilla Flats - western style made of a little history - general Store - saloon - gift store ! Love the ice cream - sorbet in the general store - worth a stop if in the area !

I am an experienced horse rider and went on the most amazing experience. I cannot say enough good things. Josh was our guide for an all day ride and he was very knowledgeable regarding the mountains and the folklore. He has written a book and has been in the area for numerous years. He also paired the horses up with the experience of the rider. Took his time riding and talking to us. The lunch that they packed for the all day ride was great too. I would highly recommend this riding stable to anyone. Don't miss this if you are a horse person or want to know more about the area mountains.

What better way to see the desert than on the back of a horse. This ranch offers views of the back of the Superstition Mountains. The horses are sure footed and gentle. They are well trained for even a novice (Just remember to hold on with your legs and DON"T let your horse eat if you want a fun time). The guides are informative and helpful. They have mounting blocks to make getting on and off easy. They offer one or two hour rides. They are closed on Sundays.

Very nice desert course, good layout decent conditions. However the service and amenities leave something to be desired, no water on course saw the cart 1X for 18 holes. Carts are in rough shape at least the one we drove poor steering etc and dirty.
