The place was mobbed, lots of drunks. The decor was cute but a bit of a theme park feel and the wines were too sweet for us. Two of the places have nothing but sweet fortified wines and one has "real" wine but the bartender was rude. We wanted to try certain ones but there were so many people he was just pouring at random and not even telling us what they were. He actually poured one wine on top of another in my glass and then said I was out of tastes even though I didn't get to taste it. Most of the places you had to elbow your way up to the bar. Felt like they were more into selling trinkets than making quality wines or experiences.

Ravines Wine Cellars is a boutique winery in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York crafting impeccably balanced, European-style wines with a unique expression of Finger Lakes terroir.
Traveling through Upstate New York, we were determined to visit at least one Finger Lakes winery before heading home. As we headed back to the Buffalo airport, we settled in Geneva, New York, with our sights on Ravines Wine Cellers. You can sample four very nice wines for $3.We took home bottles of the Dry Riesling (an award winner) and the Cabernet Franc. Have fun!

This park was clean, beautiful and fun if you were walking or jogging. We thought we would be able to ride our bikes on a path there. Most of the path was a street which needed much improvement to ride on. We did enjoy our brief visit there.

Experience a taste of life on a 19th-century estate when you visit this National Historic Landmark. Once a working farm, the house and surrounding grounds are now open seasonally for guided tours. Through family letters, photographs, and diaries, explore the family's joys and sorrows and their interactions with neighbors and the many workers required to keep the large house and farm in working order. Trained as a merchant, discover how Robert Swan combined business methods of organization with scientific innovations like drain tile to make his farm more productive and profitable. See twenty rooms restored and furnished in the Empire style, popular from the 1820s to 1850s. Enjoy the magnificent view of Seneca Lake from the front porch and the vista of nearby farmlands.Rose Hill Mansion Gift Shop features a selection of locally produced food products, historically themed gifts and hand crafted items. Be sure to visit the tasting room Billsboro Winery operates on site.Open May 1 to October 31. Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-4pm; Sunday, 1-5pm. Closed Mondays.
Fabulous restoration completed in 1966. There are pieces from two of the original owners. The community came together and donated or loaned other pieces to complete the collection. The ~ 1 hour tours are guided by very knowledgeable docents. After the tour you are free...MoreThank you for your detailed and positive review. We are glad that you enjoyed the experience of visiting and talking with our guides--they are excellent! Anne

Great venue for a reception. Only issue is the attitude and attentiveness of the bar staff. Multiple times bartender had back to bar and she was texting. This would last minutes then turns around and no apology. Good quality excellent and building is great

We passed on the tasting and grabbed a glass each of their Dry Riesling and headed for the Adirondack chairs on the porch. Nice wine and a great view. Would be amazing at sunset looking West. Great break during a day of following the Seneca and Cayuga Lake wine trails ...

Bottomless Brewing is located in Fayette, 4 miles from Geneva. We are a farm brewery and serve our beer, local wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Located on the Finger Lakes wine and beer trail, along the northeastern Seneca Lake, Bottomless Brewing craft beer is brewed on site. Situated in an iconic old dairy barn, these photos show the transition. Come see what we have built and enjoy a cold one!
we stopped in this place on our vacation. It is a beautifully renovated barn. It is spacious, the beer is good and they have indoor cornhole games upstairs. highly recommend

White Springs offers beer and wine tastings. Wine tasting options were limited and a bit disappointing. However, the beer options were great. Good place to go if there is a beer fanatic in the group who is tired of going to wineries. If your group is all about wine, there may be better places to visit. It does offer a nice view of the lake and a welcoming atmosphere.

Billsboro Winery is committed to crafting dry classic European varietal wines grown by Seneca Lake’s best vineyards. We are dedicated to focusing on small scale production, allowing us to devote more attention to providing a high quality product for our customers. Our commitment to quality is evident both in the glass and the experience we provide in our tasting room.
We visited their tasting room that is right next to Rose Hill Mansion. The tasting was free when you visit the mansion - so quite a deal for 5 tastings. They specialize in dry wines. We liked the chardonnay - which was not "oakey" at all. The server was also quite friendly.

This place is absolutely large on the lake. The gift shop / winery tasting area is HUGE. The staff is very knowledge on the different wines and pairings. The whites were outstanding as well as the red wines. We liked everything here.
