After the West Baden Springs hotel concierge was unable to secure us a pony ride, we called the stables ourselves and Doug was able to get us in. We had a 4 yr old and 6 yr old enjoy the best pony ride with the friendliest staff in the entire resort.

Guests from Al Capone to Franklin Delano Roosevelt, captains of industry and pampered socialites came to drink the smelly sulfur water, take spa treatments, and often test their luck in the casinos. Indiana Landmarks played an instrumental role in saving the West Baden Springs Hotel, a ruin when we bought it in 1996 and recruited the Cook family of Bloomington who performed an award-winning feat of restoration. We continue to provide tours in both hotels. Your tour guide will highlight the hotels’ fascinating history, award-winning restorations, and revivals’ impact on the entire region. In addition to the ongoing tours of each hotel, we offer Twilight Tours, a tour combined with Wednesday afternoon tea in the domed atrium (a grand hotel tradition). We also offer group tours and lectures by appointment.

Sketched on a napkin and carved into history by Hall of Fame architect Pete Dye, this course hosted the Senior PGA Championship in 2015. Senior PGA champion Colin Montgomerie called it "one of the iconic courses" in America and one that golfers all over the world will want to play. This championship golf course on one of Indiana’s highest elevation points has narrow, immaculate fairways and rugged
I have had the privilege of playing some nicer courses, and there are only a few better than this course. The views are absolutely amazing and you need to trust the satellites. Because there are a few backdrops the landscape plays tricks on your eyes. Mr. Dye will distract you with certain looks and will make it look like harm is in your way when it’s really not. I would also check your ego at the door and play the right tees. I’m so glad we did otherwise we could have been out there all day. The caddies are hit and miss but we’ve had a pretty good experience with most of them. Read up on all the professional reviews and play one of the best rounds of golf in your life.

This little museum was well worth the small price. It was a great way to get an overview of the area and has a wide array of information from the early beginnings, including the hotels, springs, Larry Bird and the circus.

Chainsaw Carvings from the 15 Bear Hollow Wood Carvers as well as work from over 60 other artists. Jewelry, Photography, Pottery, Paintings, Hand Carving, Bowl Turners and so much more. Also, a great selection of souvenirs.
Great little store. Nice handmade jewelry, tshirts & sweatshirts, novelties and best of all the wood carvings. Small one to literally "Big Foot" size. The employees were very sweet. If you get a chance to visit the ice cream shop attached....it is yummy!

Have visited this casino multiple times, and always come away enjoying the wide variety of table games and diversity of poker machines. Excellent bar! This casino is quite frugal with comps, which is understandable. I will come back again as I tend to feel I have an opportunity to win much of the time! Staff is friendly and always excellent!
