*Hours subject to change* Competitive axe throwing is a well known Canadian past time that's becoming increasingly popular in the United States. Simply put, it's like playing a game of darts, except with axes! At Bury The Hatchet you'll experience the thrill of launching an axe at a wooden target in a safe and fun environment.
The Freehold location is amazing! Our ax master Jake was so helpful, taught us trick shots, was super friendly and definitely made the whole experience wonderful. We will definitely be back and will 100% ask for Jake.

Drove over from Philly (while vacationing there) to see the Springsteen exhibit! Definitely not disappointed! The layout was great, and the brief film was interesting based on his hometown’s point of view. The greeter at the door was friendly and we discussed travels in detail. She also informed us of More local history to include details surrounding the statue across the street!

When we stayed, the playgrounds and archery were closed because of Covid19. The bathrooms/showers were being cleaned 4x a day and are closed for about 30 minutes (although they took pity on me and let me in once). You're supposed to wear masks in the bathrooms but most people did not (it wasn't very crowded). We had a roomy campsite on the "A" lane on the north side. It was great because we had a view into the woods and it felt private; you can arrange your setup so you don't see anyone else. The downside is that you're about as far as you can be from the bathrooms, but it's only a 5 minute walk). Each campsite has an iron firepit and a grill (you can buy wood in the office), a post with a hook for hanging a camp shower etc., a big picnic table, electric, trash containers, and access to water (in some cases a bit far--bring a long hose. Each campsite shares a water post with two spigots). The ground is flat and sandy and easy to drive stakes and pitch a tent on. Quiet hours are 11-7 and people pretty much cooperated. Rangers drive around periodically. The first night it was so humid that we would have "dew showers" where at first, you think it's raining, but it's dew coming off the leaves. Sites are wooded. We used Deep Woods Off and did not get any ticks (and hardly any mosquito bites). We enjoyed walking the trails during the day. They are pretty flat. It's a nice walk in the woods. We were there Thursday and Fri. When we left on Saturday the campground was filled. I recommend that you reserve in advance, but you have to book a min. of 2 nights.

Place was bright and clean. Staff was friendly. Great selection of apples and other fruits and veggies. Bakery on premise, with nice selection of freshly bake goods. Also wide choices of jams and jellies. Sits back of Business Hwy 33, but well worth it to search it out.

We enjoyed ourselves so much more than we'd expected. The sauna's are large, and very well kept. The steam room was our favorite, and was very relaxing. The hot tub was great, and we liked how bright and airy the place was. Our lunch was good, the staff was friendly, and we loved the BYOB. I wasn't brave enough for the cold plunge. The facility was well cared for and very clean, we're looking forward to going back!
