The Kraft family, in an effort to preserve team history and honor the greatest Patriots of all-time, built and opened The Hall in 2008. Borderland State Park has easy trails for walkers and more challenging ones for hikers. I took the easy 3 mile walk which is a slightly uneven unpaved road that includes woodlands, three ponds, interesting rock formations, meadows and farmland. The mansion was closed during my visit, but the exterior is interesting and worth inspecting. The park is large and uncrowded. There is a visitor center with restrooms and trail maps. Overall a top walkers destination. Bring insect repellent.

We were offered an unprofessional staff of Facebooking Teenagers to make us $10 sandwiches that were not so great. Just another example of overpriced foodstuffs masquerading as "organic" or "home-made" most likely made or grown by a 3rd grader.
If your the type of person that enjoys paying too much for something then this is your new favorite place. $18 frozen pie that was basically made with canned pumpkin pie filling or tasted just the same as. Pimple faced teen employees struggling to understand basic customer service and ringing up items.
"Organic" potatoes half of which are rotted through and through but pristine exterior?
Can't really think of anything to recommend other than if you like buying lemonade to support little kids playing at business people I guess you might walk away from here feeling good about being fleeced.

Love this park! There is so much to do. Lots of areas for walks, a small zoo, two play ground areas, a sand play area and the most amazing slide that every kid dreams of. Easy to park at and lots of tables for picnic lunches. Also the garden with the water butterfly is so much fun for the little kids.

We cannot believe how lucky we were to get tickets to the Optum Lounge for the Patriots vs Titans game on Jan. 13. It was AWESOME! We could stay inside and watch the game thru the large glass windows or on the large screen tv's, or we could go outside and stand right under the field goal posts and watch them score touchdowns. It was a cold night so sometimes we were inside and sometimes we were outside. The bathrooms are convenient. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. The chairs were comfortable. The only complaint (which is not about the lounge) is the parking. Gillette Stadium really needs to improve their parking situation. We waited over 45 mins to get into the parking lot at the stadium to find they only had two booth collectors taking money to park. No wonder it took so long to get everyone into the parking lot. This would NEVER happen at the Dolphins Stadium (being from FL we have gone here many times to see the Patriots play the Dolphins) and it would NEVER happen at the Tampa Bucs Stadium either (we just saw the Patriots play the Bucs Oct. 5, 2017). Gillette needs to improve their parking situation.

Went to a function here, the food was decent, but small portions (this could have been the fault of the host). Service was good. Parking garage was convenient. Had a chance to have dinner at Tavolinos and then pre-game brunch at Skipjack's before the last regular reason football game. Both were excellent. On a Saturday night we sat at the bar at Tavolino and it's perfect for great conversations. On Sunday we hadn't planned ahead, and didn't think we could get seated, but we walked in at 11:15 am, were seated within 10 minutes and had a fabulous seafood salad and whiskeys. Great place to walk around.

The Sharon dog park is across the street from the baseball fields and accessible via a path that runs between the town skateboard park and an abandoned building. The park is fenced-in and dogs are often off-leash even outside the fenced in areas. During winter, the trail is extremely slippery and due to shade, the snow takes a while to melt. In spring it thaws and becomes a muddy mess. In summer, the stagnant pond next to the park is a mosquito breeding ground. Fall is by far the best time to come. The dogs are usually all nice, although I've seen owners squabble once or twice. There are a few Husky breeders who frequent the park with more dogs than they can realistically handle, but its nearly always a pleasurable experience. Although the park is set back in the woods, it's in a clearing- so plenty of sun. There are a few handicapped spots more accessible via another road, but I couldn't tell you the name of the street. Tons of fun- especially after fresh snowfall. Stop by and say hi!
