Visitors come to this canyon in the Nevada desert to view its Indian petroglyphs, some of the first known to man. Truly an amazing site, many of the etchings go 40 to 50 feet below the sand level and are hundreds of years old. A few of the more common ones have been translated but the rest remain a mystery.
Drove to Grapevine Canyon with my wife down a dirt road. We continued through Christmas Tree Pass to return to art. 95. Wonderful trip and the views are fantastic. Would recommend anyone in the area to do it.

This stretch of old Route 66 runs between Kingman, AZ through Oatman to Topcock, AZ.
In August of 1958, I drove U.S. Route 66 through this area. I cannot believe what a drive that must have been seeing the road now some 60-years later. The scenery is certainly nice and we enjoyed the drive. We were returning to Needles, Caifornia, from our visit to Oatman and we completely missed the turnoff to return to Interstate 40. So we ended up in Kingman, Arizona, and then back tracked heading West to Needles.
To be honest, I have rated this attraction as average because the scenery is not all that stunning and grand en route to Sitgreaves Pass and then East to Kingman, Arizona.

This park is great for cheap boat lunching (get the yearly pass), Farmers market on the 1st Saturday of the month...lots of great venders, most with samples, lots of folk art and sometimes live music. Also a decent gun show 2 or 3 times a year.

I'm writing this from my tent site at WB campground. +'s: very quiet, new facility, showers, WiFi (slow), access water via 1/4mile drive, fun gamble quail. Now for the -'s: no shade (this is real desert camping), not much to do apart from the river (no hiking that we found, but the hatchery is close and worth a quick look), no cell signal, not close to anything other than the river. Next time we'll take a boat out and enjoy the river.

Track and trail time in Can Am UTVs, and swimming to beat the heat of the desert! This is a Las Vegas Experience you will never forget! If you like adrenaline, we teach you to jump and drift fast and comfy UTVs on our own track, then take you 5000 feet up a mountain for views not found anywhere else in Vegas! After, we have lunch on beautiful Lake Mohave! Come create memories of a lifetime!
Absolutely amazing UTV experience with Jake and Ani (owners) in the Arizona desert. Included pick up at our hotel in the morning. Headed to the OUI Experience where we were given safety instructions and started our training lessons on the 10-acre desert track. Training lessons were drone recorded and photographed. After training was complete, we headed out to the desert with Jake in the lead and two UTVs right behind him.
We toured an old abandoned mine, headed to a local lake where we had lunch, then more trail riding in the mountains for an amazing day! We logged in over 240 miles, had a chance to see free range cattle (at one point 8 of them blocked the trail!) and several donkeys.
After a FULL day and over 200 Photos, we headed back to Las Vegas. We were exhausted , but had the greatest experience a Father and Son could experience together.
We wish Ani and Jake the best in their business and can’t wait to book our next adventure with them!!!

Also a spa.
We went as a group. Staff could not figure out what the special was - or if they had enough food in the kitchen. This was a planned outing, and reservations had been made. The staff got wine and drink orders wrong, food orders wrong, and a couple of our group had to wait until the rest of us were almost finished. The food was marginal; certainly no what you'd expect at such a high price. Never going back.

We drove here from Kingman for the shootout, and it was fun. There were many shops to visit and look around in. There were also burros everywhere. They all seemed friendly, and at least 2 shops sold food to give them for $1. At the end of every shootout, they pass around a Shriner's hat for donations for kids in medical need. The burros also have crosses on them, and someone there told us that they were blessed with a cross after a burro carried Mary and Jesus. It was worth the trip to us.

The Kingman Visitor Center offers free travel information for Arizona attractions and operates an all-American-made gift shop, focusing on products from the Southwest. It is located in the Historic Powerhouse, which provided electrical power to Kingman and area mines between 1909 and 1938. The Powerhouse is also home to the Arizona Route 66 Museum, Route 66 Electric Vehicle Museum, Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona, and the Grand Canyon Skywalk Information Center.
Stopped here to learn about Kingman and the surrounding area. Staff was very polite and helpful. Lots of information for Kingman and the state of Arizona. Did not have time for the Route 66 Museum located here since it was later and opted for the...MoreThank you so much for stopping in to our Visitor Center. I'm glad my staff was helpful and I hope you have an opportunity to come back and visit the Rt 66 Museum. We love our visitors.

On our way to Oatman, we stopped by this awesome place. It is a perfect spot for cold drinks, nice souvenirs and best of all, for some great pictures. The owners of the Cool Springs Station, are the most wonderful and friendly people. They personally welcome each of their guests, like old friends.
Cool Springs Station is a must stop on Route 66!
See it for yourself! You won’t regret it!
