If you are ever in Brooklyn and have time - you must come here to view , experience the bygone era and feel the devotion as you come inside the hall of prayers . This beautiful church was started in 1821 and since then the generations of faithful have come here to pray , marry , and baptize the kids . This church has always believed in the equality of the mankind ,despite the racial practices prevailing in those times . Sunday family service is great . The live organ music and the beauty of the stained glass work plus the old woodwork inside the church makes it a reflection of its rich historical past . A great place to be here for hearfelt prayers .
