We visited here on quite possibly the ugliest day of the year - whipping winds, freezing temperatures and constant rain...still the BEST of our 8 stops of our trip!
Geocaching was great despite the elements!
Bathrooms were by far the BEST of any state park...we didn’t appreciate it until we kept traveling!
Sites were awesome with perfect layouts!
We will definitely be back and hope for better weather!

Flagler Beachfront Winery is an upscale winery making great wine oceanfront. We offer a variety of wines made Onsite from some of the best growers in different regions across the United States. Relax on our ocean view patio with some tantalizing tapas, decadent desserts and wonderful wines. Come for the wine, stay for the view!
The Flagler Beachfront Winery is total awesomeness!!! Ken and Kelly, the owners, are the perfect couple to run this winery, as they are always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They make their wine, which is sooo good, and you can have a glass and take home a bottle! They are well known for their wine slushies...lots of combinations so you can find your own perfect flavor, and so refreshing on a hot summer day. There are a variety of meat and cheese boards to choose from, if you're hungry, and don't forget the wine ice cream for dessert. All of this, plus an ocean view...doesn't get any better than that!! Highly recommend!!!

We visited in late February. It was a windy day and there were lots of fishermen on the pier. There is a fee to walk on the pier, 1 dollar for seniors. You get a nice view of the beach.

First, this there are two state parks in this area with similar names. This review is for BULOW PLANTATION Ruins historic state park. NOT Bulow Creek state park.
When you turn down the road for the main entrance it is a one-lane dirt road, but don't turn around, in about a mile you will reach the park entrance. There is a $4 per car entrance fee. You can drive the historic sugar mill ruins or take a short hike to the ruins. The plantation house and cottages require a lot of imagination as the "ruins" are just a few piles of rocks. But the sugar mill did not disappoint. The area was very well marked with information signs. You follow a path and the signs provide lots of information about how the mill worked. It was very informative and we learned a lot. There is an area with other old artifacts that gives information out the people who lived on the plantation and the effects of the Seminole Indian wars. Great history lesson, we really enjoyed this park.

As a full time year-round resident of Flagler Beach, I manage to still stop by and visit the Historical Museum at least a few times a year. Whenever I have out-of-town friends visit its one of the first places I take them; they all enjoy it.
While the museum is cozy and small (just like our town) it gives a good perspective of the development of FB over the past 100+ years.
Y'awl come down ya'hear!

Wow! With unimpressive frontage, the beauty appears as soon as you open the door. Artists' works range from sculpture, jewelry, oils, photography and more. The space is perfect to showcase art with greatly lit rooms of varying sizes. In addition, their special events are always informative. Be sure to check out one of our best local artist, Rachel Thompson and jewelry artist, Glenda Greenburg. A feast for the eyes. Not to be missed.

We used ,the entrance in back of the library. Good parking. The boardwalk went thru a salt marsh with great views and It led to the intracoastal. Wear a hat - very sunny walk. . We walked the boardwalk to the opposite entrance under the bridge to increase the distance walked. That walk is not as pretty. Saw some egrets

Just returned from Easter Mass here. Although a very large church, Father Al makes everyone feel like part of the neighborhood. We regularly drive about 8 miles to attend mass here. The music was wonderful, Fr. Al has a beautiful voice but there is no short services here.

The Wadsworth Park is located on Moody's Boulevard (State road 100) away from the ocean - across the bridge over the intracoastal waterway. It is a nice facility where one can take a stroll and allows children to play on the grounds.
