Original musicals under the stars! Fall season moves indoors to Northern Sky’s Creative Center & Gould Theater at 9058 County Road A in Fish Creek.
I am not much into theaters and such, but my wife dragged me here. I admit it was good experience :-)

A third generation family owned and operated art gallery that opened in June, 1969, Edgewood Orchard Galleries represents over 150 artists from across North America and shows their original paintings, jewelry, sculptures, glass, furniture, wood and clay in a beautifully restored century-old barn and award-winning sculpture garden. Voted Door County's "Best Art Gallery" every year for the past decade. Open 10-5 daily, May through October.
Really enjoyed our visit(s) to Edgewood Orchard Galleries in Door County, South of Fish Creek. They really expanded their sculpture gardens and my favorite is still always the inside buildings where they added a balcony to a new gallery. So bright and such wonderful art of all types. Great jewelry! Got some treasures each visit as we had to come back the next day. This is really the “art museum” of Door County, where just looking is okay. And everyone is so friendly and helpful. Will come back next year for sure as it’s the highlight of our Door County traditions.

The fine art of fiber wall sculptures, mixed media wall hangings and paper vessels by Wendy Carpenter reveal her personal expressionist art style through borderline "abstract-literal" interpretations...Fiber art that captures the emotion and power of objects by abstracting the natural world. Wendy's hand cut and polished Door County geode and jade stonework is a must to see! She has an exquisite jewelry display, along with hand weaved jacket crafted through her mission work in Guatemala with the Mayan weavers of Guatemala.

This park's 3,775 acres have miles of hiking and biking trails, and clean, uncrowded beaches.
Peninsula State Park is a Wisconsin treasure. Biking and hiking trails, a comfortable beach, a historic stop at the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, serene drives and camping grounds. It is a must stop for us every single time we visit Door County.

Great history given by docent and good protocol steps for covid. Limited amount of people for tour, I believe 8. Masks required. The lighthouse is as it was at the time it was operating and you get a wonderful glimpse at how the family would have lived in that time period. Docent gave good personal stories of the family. The outside views are amazing, also and the lighthouse is iconic and picturesque. Worth the state park pass and admission price of $5.

While I have been coming to Door County off and on for 35 years, I finally took an opportunity to see a performance, and so glad I did. We also participated in the free backstage tour offered on Sunday afternoons, which was such a wonderful kickoff to our Door County vacation. The performance, Ghost, The Musical, was very entertaining and we had a better appreciation for the production after having been on the backstage tour. I will come back again.

This really was a cool experience the way the sun sets out on the horizon overlooking the lake is amazing. The park fills up and best sitting spots are taken fairly early, but could set up on the grass and still have a great experience.
