Wanting to create a unique Food Basket we searched the internet for a nearby Creamery. We found Twin Sisters Creamery near Ferndale, WA and thought we’d take a ride and take a chance. It is a very nice, new Creamery. As we entered, we received a warm welcome and very personal service, plus several tasty samples to help us make our decisions. Our intention was to purchase mainly Washington State Cheeses-they make a few really tasty cheeses and also sell others which are made nearby. They had quite a varied selection of Domestic as well as Imported Cheeses. We were pleased with our gift choices and even got a couple of cheeses for our personal use at home.

Flow Motion is the area's only salt cave, healing spa, and yoga sanctuary featuring massage therapy and energy healing services, an amethyst crystal cave with waterfall, Himalayan salt cave, HaloTherapy, an infrared salt sauna, full spectrum sauna, zero gravity massage chairs, and both traditional yoga and infrared hot yoga classes. Lounges, nooks, and the library make it a hidden oasis you'll want to discover for yourself.
I purchased the Valentines Day Special for my husband, which included Salt Therapy, use of their amenities which include massage chairs and an infrared sauna, as well as a massage. This place is an amazing oasis that you will not want to leave. He loved it, and we will definitely do it again next year.

My husband and I enjoyed the garden so much that we visited twice. There’s a lookout tower behind the garden, and you can see Tennant Lake from the tower. There are loads of herbs in the garden.

A viewing tower, a boardwalk and a fragrance garden - my goodness, what a hidden gem. Officially part of Hovander Homestead County Park, Tennant Lake has so much to offer. The fragrance garden is beautifully maintained, with a wide variety of lovely looking and smelling plants. The boardwalk includes two large viewing platforms, and is of a wonderfully sturdy construction. And the viewing tower affords a great view of the lake. We saw a heron (using binoculars - a must) in ready-to-strike pose.

Our collection of cabins at Pioneer Park are worth a look. They are full of memorabilia from the era. A great time to visit is during the first weekend of December 6-8 for Old Fashioned Christmas. Lots of activities and a glimpse of the past.
