The society museum has many displays which are rotated so that something new is usually present. The director, Lenny Tvedten has so much knowledge to share and is very, very friendly. This is a must visit for local residents and any tourist passing through Fairmont.

Gomsrud Park is Fairmont's most popular park, with boat docks, lake swimming, picnicking areas, and sand volleyball courts.
This park has a large playground and is being expanded so ALL may use it, including those in wheelchairs. Our grand-kids, ages 10 to 15 love playing various games within the park. Large shelter house to keep out of the weather for a picnic.

We use the park a lot! Nice big area for big dogs and a separate area for smaller dogs, but still lots of room to run.
