Bad Axe Throwing Fairfax is the top choice for birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties and team building or corporate events. We're the go-to destination for people looking for a great time. Our axe throwing coaches will teach you how to throw an axe while helping you improve your axe throwing technique and make you into an axe throwing pro in no time.
The facilitator we were paired with was full of personality and added to the experience! They allow you to bring in your own food and throw the axes in a number of ways! I would recommend this location but it is pricey.

Small museum that highlights the long history of firearms.
We have driven by the NRA headquarters for years and never really had given it much thought. We were looking for something to do this past weekend and decided to visit their museum. None of our group are big gun fans especially. The quantity of firearms on display is amazing. And the range of history covered is excellent from the American Revolution to the Civil War to both World Wars. Additionally there are display of exotic hunting guns plus there were a slew of weapons used in blockbuster movies (our favorite area). The displays are all well lit and labeled plus brief informational details on each display are shown.

We love this place! Very comfortable seating, and during the covid pandemic, they strictly observe all protocols, so we feel very safe, especially since crowds are basically non-exisitent. In mid-week during the day, we sometimes have the theater to ourselves, or share with just a handful of others. They also have a nice selection of food and beverage, not just popcorn and candy!
