Gjorgv is one of the Top places to visit in Faroe Island . Its view is outstanding and awesome. You can even go downstairs to the bottom to see more nice view over there. When I was there, there was a group doing abseiling and zip line to the bottom. The zip line was more exciting as it hits the water . Maybe tourists can do that too . It looks like fun :)

Slaettaratindur

Reviewed By Najnou - Prague, Czech Republic

This is one of the best hikes the Faroe Islands offer. Might be quite difficult during heavy rain or when strong winds blow, but when you’re lucky (weather-wise), the mountain will reward you with stunning views of the surroundings far and wide. Also consider your physical abilities before trying to get up there, the elevation is about 450 meters on less than 2 kilometres distance, which might not qualify as extreme mountaineering, but a walk in the park also looks a bit different. But be quick to experience this part of the country, when you still got the chance to do it for free. I smell an incoming entrance fee in the air..
