We loved the haunted cabin escape room. Afterwards my oldest said, "I thought I was going to crap my pants." Luckily he didn't but it was a bit spooky at a couple spots. We've done another escape room here and the train challenge, Sidetracked. Both were great. If you like escape rooms, come give these a try.

This is the coolest place in the town of Evanston. The paved walkways are great for strollers and run along/near the Bear River with great views. We were able to see the elk but unfortunately no bison. The park was very well kept and we really liked how quiet it was being so close to town and I-80. Definitely a great place for a leg-stretching break if traveling through the area!

This may be a smaller museum, but it is packed full of local history and artifacts. A very knowledgeable and friendly staff will help you and answer your questions or try to find the answer for it. Many different displays of the areas local history from railroading, farming and ranching , coal mining, oil & gas industry of which they have a real working model of a oil drilling rig that is really impressive! For a small museum, I would put it on the list of ones not to miss!!!

The roundhouse is neat and we were able to take fun pictures on top of the old trains. My preschooler was very happy seeing the train show and my teens thought the pics they got were great.
