So nice to have all concepts of delusion regarding a religion that is so badly spoken about. Place is neat clean and tour is good. Best to make prior reservations cause at times it a bit busy

This was an extraordinary experience as to what the daily life of the Hlane community is about, as well as an initiation to the Swazi culture and traditions. We partook in several of the activities, which comprised grinding the maize, braiding wicker baskets, learning some Swazi words and dancing (in separate gender groups). An absolute MUST if one wants to "learn" a little bit more beyond what can be learned in books.

Mbuluzi Game Reserve is a privately owned game reserve operating as a share block development. The reserve offers visitor accommodation in a number of varying luxury family lodges, situated on the banks of the Mlawula River as well as in a quiet secluded campsite along the Mbuluzi River.
We spent 3 nights in Liphiva. A lovely well equipped cottage on the bank of a little river. It has a nice deck outside to sit on and watch the river and a braai below. A small shared pool with one other cottage, with a couple of sun loungers. I preferred Mbuluzi to Hlane down the road. It has a much nicer, better managed feel. We didn't like the multitude of fences sectioning up Hlane.

Swaziland has a rich and colourful history, and provides a myriad of activities to suit each individual preference. The variety of historic and cultural trails include The Mdzimba Trail. This half day tour provides an active outdoor experience and includes a visit to the Swazi homesteads, historical caves, the mystic sangoma, craft markets and a 2km walk amidst splendid mountain scenery.

Swaziland has a rich history, and provides a myriad of activities to suit each individual preference. But there is so much more to explore! Shops such as Traditional Swazi Craft Markets will definitely appeal to all. There are two traditional Swazi craft markets close by - one at the Royal Swazi Sun's entrance, and another along the main road, next to the Ezulwini Sun.

A highlight of any visit to eSwatini. A decent walk (around 10km) from the bottom or a far more relaxed walk from the resort at the top. Beautiful hills and rocks and many streams in the area make this walk all about the wind in your hair and birds chirping. Rolling green hills (except in winter) and massive boulders and expansive views are what Sibebe is all about! Take a picnic and spend hours away from the rat race!

LOCATION Conveniently located near the capital of Eswatini Mbabane, this wildlife reserve has abundant birdlife and a modest collection of grazers. The crocs and hippos seem to be evasive, which perhaps is sometimes a good thing. Adult ticket entrance fee is 40E. HISTORY Ted Reilly in 1961 installed the countrys’ first hydropump, thus becoming the first location with electricity. His original residence has been preserved and functions now as a lodge at the top of Reilly’s Rock Hilltop. ACTIVITIES The reserve is small and easy to access most areas by car. There are a few roads going to the rocky hills which require 4x4, but provide no greater advantage in terms of animal sightings. We visited on a weekend day for about 3-4 hours, which gave more than enough time to navigate and circumvate the area while gawking at the warthogs, zebra, impalas, kudus and nyalas. Safari tours, horseriding, swimming, biking, walking trails and other activities are available. Camp sites, Beehive huts available for accommodation. There is a curio shop at the campsite and a lovely picnic area with bbq facilities. The outdoor pool has a shallow and deep end (2m), a perfect place to splash after the heat and sun outdoors. FOOD (See review on Hippo Haunt Restaurant.) Hippo Pool is a awesome place to relax amongst chirping birds and the fishes (catfish, barbell, bream) and terrapin wading near the decks. SUMMARY Family-friendly wildlife resort/camp with many activities for any Sunday drive or a few days with nature.
