DOOR COUNTY KAYAK TOURS is an Eco-Tourism Family Owned Company for over 15 years in the beautiful Peninsula of Door County. Wherever we can, we use the most eco-friendly materials, techniques and procedures; starting with our super insulated building, which we heat with a water heater. Rhubarb is used to tan our new Eco-Pell leather and we use domestic sources of leather when ever possible to cut down on shipping. Even the smallest trimmings from our cutting floor are used in labels, linings and our new bracelets, cuffs and collars. The rest is donated to schools and craftspeople. Even old display curtains are styled into dust bags for our one of a kind bags. We try hard, so that others will enjoy the wealth of our environment . Mink River Nature conservancy is next door with beautiful hiking trails.

The beautiful, functional and decorative ceramic art inspired by the natural beauty of Door County, Wisconsin is made by John Dietrich and Diane McNeil. The artists work, and live, in their restored apple packing barn, creating one of a kind dinnerware, bakeware and unique shapes and glazes for your home or office. Their gallery represents ceramic artists Joanne Kirkland and painters Thomas and Margaret Dietrich and Jeanne DeBruin. Free Demonstrations Tuesdays 1-2 from July 6 to August 25, 2020. Choose this tour if you want to enjoy the quiet scenery and to explore the cherry industry in Door County. Just south of Ellison Bay, you will find Ellison Bluff County Park, featuring a 200-foot drop down a bluff to Lake Michigan. In addition to experiencing that view, you will glide down peaceful Beach Road and along sheer limestone bluffs. This glide is beautiful year-round, offering a great way to see Ellison Bluff County Park! Come see the blooms and all the other picturesque scenery along Lake Michigan.

We make and sell pottery in our restored apple barn in Northeast Wisconsin, on the Door Peninsula. We make functional, every day pottery in our gas kiln. Additionally we fire decorative ceramics outside in both our pit-fire and raku 'kilns'.
