With its 25m sports pool it is the largest hotel pool in the achensee region. We came here for a day trip in the summer and loved it - the location is so beautiful, very scenic. We parked in Pertisau and were lucky to find parking along the lake. From there it was a short walk to the boats - you can take a round trip or a one-way trip for a various length of time - we were here with two small children so opted for a 40-minute round trip around the lake and that was perfect. Once you're on the boat you can order ice-cream and coffees etc - this is quite highly priced as you would expect, but it's part of the experience. Absolutely beautiful location and we can't wait to return and spend more time here.

The Rofan Mountain is a must when visiting the area, and is very scenic and good for both hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Offers a bit for everybody, from easy to hard slopes. The fare seems to be a bit expensive, compared to other alpine cable cars.
