Early arrival of around 20 minutes beforehand is important for gearing up so we can get you started on time. Trails and Visitor Information Centre, Trails information, Ablutions, Maps, Brochures, interactive displays, gifts, souvenirs ,
We were attracted by the new building, opened a few months ago. The staff were very friendly and showed a few of us how to use the virtual reality headset to learn about the trails. It's equipped with toilets and showers, something hikers would look for. Dwellingup indeed is a hikers town.

Recommended by a friend we booked a table for 3 and to have the cheese and meat platter. Our table was a high bar stall table overlooking the garden which was nice and rustic. We ordered a paddle of the mixed cider and a huge platter to share between 3. We are not really cider people but found the experience really enjoyable and thoroughly enjoyed the cheese and meat platter which was more than enough for 3 people. A really nice place to visit.

Tony’s bend was a lovely little camp site by the river, lots of nice walks and scenery in the reserve.

The beautiful rammed earth Forest Heritage Centre (FHC) links Forest to Arts and Environment. It offers a hub for artisans to work, school groups to meet curriculum outcomes and visitors to enjoy the arts and explore the forest. The FHC houses a fine art gallery, retail shop of local artisans work, a forest interpretive centre, walking trails with education signage and a full equipped workshop.
... you'll see more than trees. As visitors from UK with little time and much to learn we found the Centre delightful. Very welcoming staff and the option of coffee included in the ticket is a great idea. As well as enjoying Forest-related information and various displays, we chatted with the impressive Rocking Horse maker and wished we could have afforded (and carried) one of the horses! Plenty of beautifully crafted souvenirs, including useful ones, we brought away fridge magnets and fragrant furniture polish. We didn't go with children but could see how well they are catered for. An educational experience for all ages, we warmly recommend this Centre.
Go ballistic at PAINTBALLISTICS! Open 7 days a week! Paintball is an ideal team sport for sporting clubs, corporate groups or family and friends to play. Teams get to battle it out on the fields, trying to outwit their opponents and secure victory! You can play to your own fitness level but be prepared to raise the tempo as the adrenalin and the competitive will to win steps in. There is an age restriction by WA State law of 16 years and over unless accompanied by an adult. Target Shooting is available for all ages. Paintballistics offer a variety of different fields including: Drum Field - Duck and weave between the drums as you eliminate the opposition and ultimately capture the flag. This is a speed game to initially get you into the spirit of Paintballing. Feel the pain, take the winning shot and capture the flag. Fort Field - Fend off the attacking players until all players are eliminated. The team in the fort can be shot multiple times but the outer players are out once hit. Teams then swap so both get the "fort" experience. Speed/Obstacle Field - Again use the obstacles to your advantage as you engage the opposition. Dam Field - Patrol the undulating bush covered banks around the dam, seek and find the opposition and then eliminate them. Target Shooting - For those who want to shoot but not be shot. Practice your weapon handling, fire and manoeuvre skills. Open Terrain - Advance to contact, engage the enemy and take them out! Use the open ground to deploy your forces as you try to outmanoeuvre the opposition tucked away in their bunker. Paintball is entertaining, builds team spirit, encourages leadership skills, and is suitable for all fitness levels and skills. Paintball is just great fun! Accommodation and other activities for your group can also be arranged on site with Dare Adventures.
