This trip is an absolute must! The drive to this destination will be a bit tedious; traffic is slow, cliffs can get narrow and curvy, and driving through the desert is long. The cliffs and plateaus on the Reservation territory are breathtaking. The drive there is breathtaking! Once you reach the park entrance, there is a 10 to 15 walk down to the edge of the cliff. There, you can see the beautiful Colorado River as it winds and bends through the Grand Canyon territory! Please be careful to adhere to Park precautions! Do not go beyond the signs to take selfies! Getting close to the edges may cost you your life! The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. You will have ample space to take photos and videos! The soil is soft and loose. The gravel can cause you to slip, as one woman fell on her back by going to close to an edge! The trip is worth it! Please use the restroom before coming to this attraction, but there are restrooms in the parking lot.

Housed in the former National Bank of Australasia building, the Dimboola Imaginarium is a whimsical living-room shop filled with curios, collectables, books, plants and other unique gifts. The former National Bank of Australasia Limited building was an emblem of Dimboola’s agricultural prosperity. Built on the site of the Oriental Bank that failed in the late 19th century, the current redbrick building was constructed in 1909 in the Renaissance-style architecture. Situated on the corner of Lochiel and Lloyd Street, the building has a bank manager’s residence and a garden with stables.
This is such a treat of a place: excellent pottering around the store and the broad range of goodies to tempt you, and a dive into the history of the building and the work that Chan and Jamie are doing to restore the old bank and to support community in Dimboola. I can't wait to see the final glory: what a fab place to stay. And getting to meet Bozo the Turkey in all his ruffled finery was excellent fun as well.

Little Desert National Park is more than a desert. Camp beside the Barringgi Gadyin, and enjoy bushwalks, birdwatching or four-wheel driving. The park has a number of marked, signposted walks, ranging from 30 minutes to three days duration. The best time to visit the park is between late winter and early summer when the temperatures are comfortable and the park is full of blossoms and wildflowers. The range of soil types in Little Desert National Park causes marked differences in vegetation. Many species of plants and animals have succeeded, on poor soils with little water, in creating a kind of arid landscape where survival depends on maintaining a delicate balance of natural forces.
We went about 4pm and so much wildlife. Emus, kangaroos and wallabies. Lots of birds as well. We did thr main discovery track, the river track and stringybark track. Sadly not many wildflowers yet. We also visited about 8am next morning, not as much activity, but still a great spot.
