There is something extra special about family movie night when it's at a drive-in and under the stars. We took our 7-yr old granddaughter and it brought back memories of going as a kid and taking my kids before her. She especially enjoyed "camping" in the back of the truck to watch the movie.
The value is outstanding for kids ($2) even if you only stay for one movie. Adults at $8, isn't as much of a bargain unless you stay for both movies. The box office is open through intermission, so if the first movie doesn't interest you, you can enter just for the second movie.
The concession stand offers a wide variety of choices, including ice cream novelties, for a reasonable price. Ice cream is an especially nice treat on a hot summer night. There is also a small playground area to help keep the kids entertained until the movie starts.
The movies go rain or shine with no refunds, so unless you have cover or are ok being inside your car for the show, be sure to check the forecast before you go.
It's a way to bring back some "old fashion" family time for a couple of hours. Definitely worth an evening with your family and a movie of your choosing.

I love going here to relax and walk around the lake! The ducks and geese are fantastic to watch. Always people out walking their dog or riding in boats. What a beautiful area. Also, it's called children's lake because kids can fish certain times for free. Enjoy!!!

Visited to do some work in the archives. The AHEC staff were very welcoming and helpful. The facility is a great resource for anyone looking to undertake military research. The canteen offered a good selection of food and drink and again the staff were very helpful.

My wife and i took a tour with this company to Washington and were amazed. Our guide, Susan, was great. Very knowlegeable about everything in DC. She really knows her stuff and makes the tour really great. She pointed out all the important places with stories to go with it. Any questions you had, she could answer. The tour was very well organized and i recommend it to everyone. I also have to mention that our driver, Ron, was excellent as well. Very good driver. Not that easy to get around in Washington. The whole day was amazing.

Starting in 1939, Williams Grove Speedway has been one of the top sprint car tracks in the country. The speedway is a 1/2 mile banked smooth clay oval with speeds reaching in excess of 100 mph. The 2016 racing season runs from March 18th to October 7th. Our largest show, the World of Outlaws National Open pays over $300,000 in prize money. Season admission prices range from $14 to $45, discounted youth (Ages 13-20) $10-$20 and Kids 12 and under are always FREE. Special sanctioned races include the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, United States Auto Club, Super DIRTcar Series, All-Star Circuit of Champions, United Racing Club and the American Racing Drivers Club among others. Other racing divisions throughout the season include, 358 sprint cars, super sportsman, limited late models and street stocks. We strive to be a family oriented facility by hosting School's Out Night, the Math Fact Challenge and supporting many local and national charities.
I have been visiting Williams Grove Speedway for over 20 years. The racing is fast paced and exciting to watch. I especially like when the World of Outlaw touring group arrives. There is plenty of parking and camping available on site. The track offers food sales on race days, usually burgers, beef bbq, hotdogs, fries, funnel cakes etc/ Typical track food. Large infield for blankets and chairs.
If you are looking for some fast dirt sprint car racing, you have to come check this track out.

Paintings, glassworks, wood works, fabric art, and much more. We picked up the York county guide book. It's listed in there, but doesn't state only open certain times during the year and only Fri, Sat, Sun. We went on Thurs. It's in the middle of no-where field. Very large building, decent parking I guess for it's limited appeal. They have special activities as there is a "pick-up trip" bus for off site parking. So check before you go and find it swamped. The flyer I picked up at the open door shows a decent collection of racing items. Maybe next time.
