New live interactive escape room opened in Didcot Oxfordshire. A small, local, family run business who has kept the room simple but the puzzles fun! We have tried to create an immersive game that can be played by beginners or more experienced escape room players! The game is for 2-5 players aged 14 or older. Anyone under 14 but over the age of 10 can play but must be accompanied by a playing adult
This was approximately our 17th escape room, and we were happy to find this one is solidly above average. This was more affordable than many other escape rooms in the area, but it didn't skimp on the puzzles. Be sure to read the directions on the website to find it! We did the Avalanche Cabin with a group of four adults. The room was nicely atmospheric and really got across the theme. Most of the time, there was more than one puzzle to be working on or more nooks & crannies to explore, so there was usually something for everyone to do. We were also surprised to find several puzzles we haven't seen before in other escape rooms, which was a welcome change. This room really challenges you to go back to items you've examined before and look at them again in a different way. One note of criticism is that we had to prompt the host to explain certain things about the room. For example, in one of the first rooms we ever did they didn't explain how to use directional locks and so when we encountered one in the room itself we wasted many minutes fiddling with it. It's just generally good practice to ensure all participants are familiar with how a room will work. Overall, we had a great time. We'll definitely come back here again for new rooms in the future. Thank you!

Very attractive venue with cheerful staff.who try very hard to please; We came to see "Pinocchio" which was a very lively performance by a very young enthusiastic cast with lots of energy, An enjoyable production. It has a good cafe which provides a range of simple food and caters very well for children. The Orchard centre car park is nearby and is free for the first 2 hours and you just pay for any excess time.

The house and grounds are open for a limited period of time during August so do check their website. All safety precautions are in place to visit the house including controlled limited entry, face masks etc and it was a fantastic visit. We felt extremely safe and so lovely to see a beautiful old house again. Do visit as it’s a treasure.
