Skydiving Attraction in Delta, CO. We take you 7,500' above the ground and jump out of an airplane! We freefall and reach speeds of 120 mph. After we pull the parachute we float to the ground and enjoy views of the Grand Mesa and Black Canyon.

Visit the Delta County Historical Museum, which is housed in an old fire house. Here, you can see many items of interest from Delta's pioneer days, such as house wares, toys, clothing and early farming and ranch utensils. Fossil, dinosaur bones and a world-class butterfly exhibit with specimens from all over the world are on display here. The museum also has on display a robe from the 1800s that was a gift from the King of Siam. Additionally, there is an eight-foot tall clock that used to be in the French Palace of Louis the 14th. The museum also displays a bridle crafted by the western legend Tom Horn. Many people stop in to hear the story of the McCarty Gang and the hero William Ray Simpson, a local hardware store owner who brought the gang down.

It's a local fun place to be. It's simple fun with miniature golf and batting cages. Nothing fancy just basic family fun. Definitely has a small hometown feel which is great. Needs some updating but still a fun time.

This is so close to the Grand Mesa, which make for two totally different landscapes and climate in one area. Well worth the time to check it out with either bikes, hiking or horses!

Flat out Devil’s Thumb is a must play for anyone already living there or planning a golf trip to the western slope of Colorado. The course has several elevation changes, a few tee boxes perched high above the fairway and great practice areas prior to play. You’ll need to play Devil’s Thumb at least twice to learn your lines off the tee on 5, 10, 13 and 16. Fairways have generous landings and the greens are receptive yet with just enough slope you need to in the right area of the green. I’ll be telling all our men’s club members that Devil’s Thumb is worth the drive over.

I visited for the first time during a Business After Hours event. I barely knew this place was there, and after the visit, I recommend everyone go at least once. Run by volunteers dressed in period clothing and very knowledgeable about the fort, it's a great place to learn about our local history and have some fun family time away from the electronics. Also, they have a great wealth of tourist information in the gift shop/museum.
