Visited cuttack chandi temple for my daughter's mundan ceremony. Not much crowded and gives me a serene feeling whenever I have entered temple premises. All sorts of puja and feast are done here and people are really helpful. If you visit this temple, dont miss out on the sweet Prasad.

A grate experience of us to visit the Netaji birth place Cuttack. It ambiance was very nice. We went to that place from Bhubaneswar by car. Entry fee to the museum Rs 10/- per person. The beautiful gardening around the museum along with nice emotional photos of Netaji around the garden. It took 1 hour to visit the two storied museum. The museum covered birth room, reading room, prism ambiance, library ( you can read books from library), INA (Indian National Army) bank , number of photos of political movements etc. There is a sell counter for different kinds of books, T Shirts etc.

Even a few decades back, a visit to the ancient Shiva temple on the Dhabaleswar island in the midst of the waters of the mighty Mahanadi river in tiny ferries was an adventure to remember. Now visiting the temple is a simple crossing over Odisha's first hanging foot bridge. A nominal fee of ₹2 is charged for using the bridge. During the monsoons, the feel of the gushing waters of the Mahanadi below one's feet is an experience by itself. The temple for Shiva in the form of Dhabaleswar (White God) dates back to the 11th century and is highly revered amongst locals. Those with time in hand can opt for boating over to the island. The temple is situated about an hour's drive from Bhubaneswar (30 km) and can be clubbed with a day tour of Cuttack. It involves more than average walking.

Though it is a very old stadium but time to time up-gradation and maintenance it is still one of the best stadiums in our country. Many one day events have been arranged here. People of Odisha love to see matches here.

Ask anyone what to see in Cuttack and this temple will be the first you’ll hear ! The temple is of the presiding deity of Cuttack – Goddess Chandi and hence the name. It’s a small temple but step inside and it resonates bliss ! It’s quite famous and its gotta be the first thing to do in the city. I was here in the evening hours and its beautiful ! The diyas (lamp) all burning in tandem. The Prasada stall with all the good choices on the sweets is just perfect.

The maritime museum offers a splendid look at the ancient voyages from the coast of Odisha to Java, Sumatra, Bali etc. It also has a small aquarium and a great 4D theater. Overall worth the money and couple of hours you spend in it. You can also have a walk along the banks of river Mahanadi just across the street.
