The boat trip was nice even if there was a lot of wind and waves. Once on the island we spent a lovely day. Bring you picnic as there is nothing on the island. We walked little. We sat on a small sandy beach but the wind was too strong. Did some snorkeling and found the elephant shaped rock. Then went to another beach on the opposite side that had less wind but no sand. Last boat was at 17h30. We couldn’t do the grottos because of the agitated sea but passing next to the them was already impressive.

As an incredibly famous spot in Corsica, Palombaggia’s reputation for being one of the most gorgeous beaches in the world is fully justified by its stunning beauty. The white sand contrasting with the gorgeous blue water makes you want to take a dip right away! Bordered with pine trees, this little slice of paradise is one of the busiest beaches in the South. So head there early or off-season!

Pure beauty... Crystal clear waters... Limited car parking... This place is just a little paradise that should be dramatically protected from the silly humans... Actually the fact that car parking is limited tends to reduce the number of people on the beach... There are a number of restaurants at one end of the beach, we tried one of those (PETIT CHOSE) and it was EXCELLENT... GREAT GREAT PLACE TO BE ! Merci CORSICA for being so BEAUTIFUL... Please PROTECT THIS TREASURE...

Having the chance to go swimming and enjoy this beautiful beach is a must between two professional meetings.

We drove to the point, with lots of parking available (if all full, it probably would have been way too busy!) Then walk around the point on natural paths (nothing too exiting) and have beautiful views of Corsican coast. As it was quite windy (although sunny), there were amazing waves crashing into the coast. View of the Îles was nice (and reachable by easier path), climb to the base of the tower steps, with further tremendous views.

Lovely beach, white sand a blue turquoise calm water. Great for children, very shallow. The beach doesn't get too busy end of September. We preferred Santa Giulia opposed to Palombaggia where there is a lot seaweed in the sea.
