This is a very family friendly winery that offers outdoor seating and treats. The tasting room is an old Dutch Colonial Manor house and it is the oldest winers in the area (early 1600's). The wines are good and servers knowledgeable, but mostly it's just a relaxing place with a large lawn.

One of the jewels of the Constantia Wine Valley, South Africa's oldest wine producing region situated less than 20 minutes from Cape Town City Center. It is situated off Main Road on the saddle below Constantia Nek. Constantia Glen wine tasting facility offers a sweeping view form their tasting room amidst the vineyards, which is a rare pleasure. The wine tasting room is open from 10:00 - 20:00 on Fridays & Saturdays and 10:00 - 17:00 from Sunday - Thursday every week.
This was our second visit to Constantia - the first was last January and we were delighted to find that the wine and food were every bit as good as we remembered. We had excellent advice from Cathy, who looked after us extremely well. The Flammkuchen was delicious, as was the smoked trout platter and her knowledgeable information throughout our wine tasting was was very helpful. Naturally, we came away rather more burdened with wine than we intended!

Fantastic wine tasting - beautiful ambience and a very helpful and professional waiter. We made two different tastings and all wines very extrem good. Sorry that we had the bad experience with the bistro around the corner.

Dating back to 1685 and described as one of the world’s most beautiful wine estates, Klein Constantia is set amidst ancient trees on the upper foothills of the Constantiaberg, with views across False Bay. The perfect location for cool climate wines, Klein Constantia produces some of South Africa’s top wines, including one of the world’s best natural sweet wines, Vin de Constance.
Marvelous, very modern winery. Make sure you take the guided tour, which is excellent. We've tasted wines all over the world, and the tour here is the best we've ever taken. Wines are pricey but wonderful.

Beau Constantia is a boutique wine farm situated very high up on the Constantia Mountains where meticulous attention to detail in the vineyard leads to distinctive handcrafted wines.
Spent a relaxing couple of hours tasting some of the beautiful wines produced at beau Constanta. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable about their products and the cheese/charcuterie board was a perfect accompaniment along with the stunning views over their 11 hectares.

We drive by this small winery based on a recommendation and enjoyed a very nice and competent tasting of their wines. Especially the reds were excellent and we bought a bottle for the following evening. Very nice and competent.

Having visited this lovely wine estate in January (as part of a 65th birthday celebration month) we couldnt resist another visit during our December Christmas visit and this time I took my sister and her husband who were visiting Cape Town for the first time. While the men went off to sample local beers we settled down to enjoy the 5 wine tasting. Staff are very knowledgable about the wines the estate produces, so much so that we bought several bottles of our favourite which was the Sauvignon. why do we return to this winery every time we travel to Cape Town? simply the location is spectacular and in addition to wine tasting the estate offers an artisan community of diverse produce- Beer-Sushi-Ice Cream -Coffee-handmade Chocolates and a lovely Bistro all located within a row of small of cottages in the grounds. I already know that I will be buying wine again when I visit at Christmas 2020.

Eagles' Nest is cradled in the secluded Constantia Valley on some of the steepest vineyards in South Africa, allowing for the creation of rare, distinct and exceptional wines. From vintage to vintage, the wines consistently express the characteristics of each cultivar, giving a rounded complex structure with quality throughout. Quality and consistency is paramount at Eagles' Nest. Our unique terroir combines with a passionate attention to detail in the vineyards, yields fruit that is crafted into wines which epitomise elegance, finesse and complexity.
We used the red bus tour to drop us off at the gates of Eagles nest. We walked up the driveway to be greated by a lovely smiley lady and "BEAR"(the dog) fast asleep. We were invited in for a tasting but declined. We did stop and have a glass of wine and some great SA delicacies. We were also greated by BEARS friends IZZY AND TEDDY. These just add to the perfect feel of the place. Unfortunately we only had a small backsack otherwise these dogs may have come back to the UK with us. Thanks for the wonderful look into the vineyard and a warm welcome.
