Frio Cave is home to an estimated 10-12 million Mexican Free Tailed Bats. On scheduled evenings, from March thru September, guests meet with a guide who explains about the history of Frio Cave and the bats that call it home. Then, standing near the cave opening, they watch the bats fly out over their heads. Most evenings various birds of prey fly in to feast on the bats on the wing. Guest enjoy a Hill Country sunset as the streams of bats ribbon away into the distance. Tours end at dark.

We're a family owned kayak and tube rental business located in beautiful and scenic Concan, Texas. We've been renting inner tubes and kayaks to vacationing guest of Leakey, Rio Frio and Concan for over twenty years. We have 4 of the 8 biggest trees in Texas and a VERY PRIVATE river that the 450 acre family owned ranch straddles the beautiful Frio River for 1.3 miles of exclusivity for you and your friends. Deep Water swimming holes, Kid areas, great areas to relax, water for kayaking or Standup Paddleboards...relax. Book in advance to reserve your spots, especially for weekends. RULES: * No Pets * No Fishing * No Charcoal Grills (Gas is OK) * No GLASS * NO GLASS (Seriously, grounds for removal) * No Styrofoam Coolers / No Styrofoam Cups * Smoking or Vaping must be done physicially in your vehicle. * No Loud Music (nature comes first here...anyone can ask you to turn if off...no arguments). * No Guns.
