With acres of indoor fun and acres of outdoor activities, The Milky Way Adventure Park is a fantastic all-weather family experience! The park has a fantastic NEW 2020 addition – the Ninja Stars games arena with Tag Active scoring, designed to be fun for the whole family. Save Planet Earth on Ziggy's Blast Quest, an interactive ride that's a huge hit with all ages. Ride the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster, whizz down the Gravity Rider donut slide, have a bumping good time on the Droid Destroyer dodgems, negotiate the maze and go wild in the Time Warp, North Devon’s biggest indoor adventure play area. Watch top live shows featuring Merlin from Britain’s Got Talent, as well as fantastic displays from the North Devon Bird of Prey Centre. Little ones will love the Little Stars play centre, huge bouncing pillows, Cosmic Caterpillar ride, pottery painting and the mini-train. All rides and shows are included in the entrance fee at The Milky Way but do book ahead as spaces are limited.
Fab day out here, exceptional value for money and i love how it is equiped to be able to alot in doors if the weather isnt great, loads to do, great soft play, super slides, big bouncy cushions, mini golf, a maze, train ride, rollercoaster and optional extra for archery and pottery, fun filled day for most ages and only £13 each when booked online, cant go wrong. Burgers could be better but you can take a picnic to eat outdoors so i would do that next time.

Clovelly, North Devon. World famous for our cobbled, traffic-free street, donkeys, sledges and historic harbour. The stunning views, peaceful tranquility and cobbled, traffic-free, high street of this world famous fishing village, built into a cleft in a 400' high cliff, tumbles its way down past whitewashed cottages festooned with flowers to the tiny working port. It is famous for its donkeys, which traditionally carry goods up the hill; sledges bring things down. There are links with Charles Kingsley, Turner, Dickens and the Spanish Armada.
Arrived very early on Sunday morning after our 4 hour trip from home ! We walked all the way down this beautiful cobbled pathway to the harbour - benches & steps to stop & catch your breath ! Remember it is a very steep hill full of character & not for the faint hearted ! Sadly the hotel is closed but there were other shops opened that provided refreshments & souvenirs of this charming village ! My mum got into severe difficulty trying to get back up the steep hill & we were saved by a lovely lady called Rose who had seen my mum struggling. She arranged for the Land Rover to pick her up & take her back to the top by Roger & Jonas who were so very caring, attentive & helpful - much praise & thanks to these 3 wonderful local people who excelled in helping us out x We had an extended stop in the café at the top & have to say overall we had the most incredible time whilst visiting this charming Devon hotspot en route to our holiday destination in Cornwall ! Do not be put off by some of the negative reviews - this is an historical place of interest & very charming with spectacular views across the harbour and we would strongly recommend you visit but wear flat, sensible shoes/hiking boots & be prepared for the walk back up the steep hill !

A 5 mile walk on the South West Coast Path in the woods, also passing through the Brownsham Moors and the Culm Grasslands, an unusual habitat with a rich diversity of wildlife. There is an optional detour into the famous thatched-and-cobbled village of Clovelly, where donkeys are still the main form of transport up the steep village street and residents carry their shopping on sleds.
The walk to see Black Church Rock and Mouth Mill is definitely worth it, bearing in mind it can be a tough walk for some. Along the walk, there are many viewpoints but watch out near the edges of cliffs. Clovelly is a stunning village and definitely worth a visit.
