Home to some of the best beaches in America, Clearwater is a great family beach destination. Sure, it’s in Florida, but it’s not Giant Rodent Florida (a.k.a. Orlando) or Crazy Spring Break Florida (a.k.a. Fort Lauderdale). Rather, it’s Calm, Old-Fashioned Florida… which is something worth seeing. Oh, and the weather’s outstanding.

With hundreds of things to do on Clearwater Beach, the main attraction is still pretty much its near-perfect beach (USA Today readers voted Clearwater Beach "Best Beach Town in Florida" in 2013). Beautiful white sand and clear, shallow water make this beach an ideal playground for families.
We loved walking along the beach, lovely fine white sand. Sunsets were beautiful, Saw dolphins as well from Pier 60.

What a great venue for small concerts. This was our second Tribute Band concert and both have been an outstanding value. First one was Fleetwood Max which my wife and I extremely enjoyed and now this one "the Sounds of Soul" was an equal treat. Orchestra Seating is only $24.50 ea and we were 3rd row center. If your visiting or a resident, you have to check this venue out! Can't wait for the next show.

Headaches not included! Free wine tastings daily and reservations are not required. Since 2010 we have been making some of Florida's best, hand crafted, low sulphite wines. We hand-craft over 25 wines every year, right here at our family owned & operated micro-winery. Although we specialize in making some of the tastiest award winning, fruit-infused wines around, we also produce your favorite dry reds, whites as well as some dessert wines.Using the finest varietal grapes brought in from grape growing regions throughout the US, as well as others from around the world, we start with the fermentation process and go forward from there. Small batches, and a meticulous attention to detail, allow us to create a consistent tasting bottle of wine each time. Come see why we are one of the top rated wineries in Florida! Our Tour and Tasting Experience is a "must do"! Round up your friends and book yours today! Due to it's extreme popularity, and only seating for 30, reservations are required.

This stadium was the least outstanding of the Grapefruit League ball parks we visited. There are few seats with shade - none of them behind home plate. You can’t walk around the outfield which is rare. The staff is friendly. There are multiple parking options in the area.

The beach walk is a great alternative to walking along the shore line. There is plenty of beach access, and the walk is smooth and level. There is parking along the way, but fills up quickly.

The Clearwater Ferry is a great way to travel from Clearwater Beach to Clearwater and avoid the traffic, while enjoying a pleasant boat ride across the bay. Friendly staff and efficient service. We thoroughly enjoyed riding the ferry while taking in the breathtaking water views. We even saw a few dolphins along the way!

This long stretch of beach is divided by Pier 60 - the southern end is usually more crowded due to the sheer number of hotels and holiday apartments - the northern side has mainly private villas and apartments. Plenty of places to hire cabanas/loungers etc as well as water sports. Beach is kept clean (we noticed a tractor pulling a beach raker) and with it’s powder white sand and clear waters it’s a great place to relax - numerous cafes and beach bars are dotted all along. Parking is either on street ($1.25ph - coin/pre paid card/app only), beach lots ($2.50ph - card/coin/app payment) or best of all is a parking garage on corner of Ponsettia/Baymont St on northern side of Causeway Blvd roundabout ($2ph). Even though it was Spring Break when we visited there was still parking spaces available. Pier 60 is great to wander along at any time of day and there’s a small information shack at the entrance where you can pick up ideas of places to visit in the area.
