We had an amazing time riding through the snowy mountains at Del's Triangle 3 Ranch. From pick-up to drop-off, the service was excellent! Perk picked us up at the Gondola transit site and even offered to drop my son off at the condo since he...MoreThank you for choosing Del’s Triangle 3 Ranch. Sincerely, Becky Heid

A year-round destination, this beautiful state park offers a multitude of recreational activities from cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter to camping, hiking, biking and boating in the summer. The natural setting is highlighted by the beautiful scenery of Sand Mountain and Hahn's Peak bordering this 1055 acre lake. At 8000 feet in elevation, Colorado mountain wildflowers and wildlife are abundant. Our trail system allows you and your family to see nature up close. The campgrounds of 188 campsites allows you to experience the beauty of the outdoors and still have the comfort of modern amenities and facilities.
Thoroughly enjoyed our hike on Tombstone Nature Trail. It's a short 1.1 mile trail, yet there are amazing views of Hahn's Peak and Steamboat Lake, and many deer/wildlife and wild flowers to see. (I even saw a fawn nursing from its momma!) As a bonus, at the Visitor's Center (where you pay your day pass fee of $7), make sure to pick up the brochure. It has 10 numbered posts that correspond to the brochure, further explaining the sites along the hike. It includes a tombstone of the original family to the area from the early 1900's. There are restrooms at the entrance to the hike and benches along the way. This has a dirt path... easy for kids. Bring a camera and wear comfy shoes. Picnic tables available at the entrance. Have fun!

I recently visited Elk River Guest Ranch on July 26-29, 2015. If you have never visited this ranch, I would highly recommend it. The owner, Bex Atnip, and all of the staff were very kind, the food was excellent and the trail rides were breathtaking!
Thank you Bex for making my visit such an awesome experience! I hope to see you again soon!

Steamboat Lake Marina offers Pontoon Boat, Fishing Boats, Ski/Wakeboard Boat Rentals, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. We also have the closest cabins to the lake! 10 cabins are open all year!
Our family has enjoyed day trips and overnights at Steamboat Lake Marina (SLM) for many years. We travel to Steamboat Springs, CO often and am just now returning home from another great trip out there. Went to SLM twice this past visit for fun on the water, hiking and relaxing. Spent my birthday night up there in a cabin, paddle boarded and hiked. The place just keeps getting better and better while maintaining its simplicity and charm. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is one of the prettiest and scenic spots I have been to in the Rockies - 360 degree vistas of sheer beauty. Only 40 minutes north of Steamboat and worth the drive!!

Mountain Paws Dog Sled Tours: Drive your own team of excited Alaskan huskies through the spectacular beauty around Steamboat Lake or along the scenic trails of majestic Hahns Peak.
We took a weekend roadtrip from UT to CO. I searched for many things in Steamboat springs but found this gem just outside in Clark. Joy and Michael are just getting started on their own. But have lots of experience and passion. Mountain Paws Dog Sled Tours might not have as many reviews. But if you are a seasoned traveler you know the best finds are the ones just getting started. Currently they only have two sleds, but that was perfect for the two of us. We were able to get a "private specialized tour." I am not a big animal fan. Typically they make me nervous. But the dogs were very sweet. It did not take long to see that the dogs LOVE to run.... The ride was exciting and an adrenaline rush. Our family and friends are anxious to join us next time. Thank you again Joy and Michael we will be back.

Welcome to the Roadhouse! We provide fun activities all year round as well as lodging, a full restaurant and a general store. Conveniently located only 1/4 mile from the Steamboat Lake, we are always enjoying all that Clark, CO has to offer.
My husband and I rented a cabin at the Roadhouse for 6 days. The rustic cabin was cozy and comfortable. Had dinner at restaurant with friends from Steamboat. Great pizza and sandwiches. We booked an ATV tour which was great. Close enough to Steamboat to run into town. The Roadhouse provided fireworks from the lake. Highly recommend this place.

Went here as part of a Guest Ranch experience (see Elk River Guest Ranch). really fun time. Saw some pretty large fish (who should have been deep and cold water this time of day) but maybe they were playing with the same crawdad's my daughters were. Anyway a great little mountain lake

Get out of the cold and into these natural mineral springs with a year-round average temperature of 104 degrees.
Been to the hot springs numerous times. The setting is awesome. The springs are good. However, the place is going through some neglect. The parking staff is very unpleasant and rude. The cash taker is unenthusiastic about the job and their apathy shows through. Litter from the tourist is unattended and pools are becoming very crowded from overselling. The basic area is just starting wear out. It is just generally decline.

These guys might be ok for trail riding excursions, however, don't even think about booking them for guided hunting services. Lodging, food, transports, etc.. all below standard. I don't need much and this trip was well below my minimum satisfaction. No hunting in early morning or late evening. No ice in camp (base camp). Walked 54 miles, saw 1 cow yet refused to change spot and stalk strategy. We weren't welcome in camp from Day1 for some reason. 4 hunters from different states- terrible company. Don't even think about booking with SLO.

Dinner sleigh ride pulled by horses. Dinner served in a rusric setting rib eye steak, chicken breast or rainbow trout. Live entertainment old time country rock Family owned and operated
What a wonderful way to spend the evening with my loving man. Everyone was so energized to share where and what they do. The horses were so well behaved and the ride mysterious. The Yampa Boys entertained us while we ate a scrumptious steak meal. Medium-rare, just right! A must do for couples and family!
