Christ Church is located on the southern end of the island of Barbados, on the vibrant South Coast. Have fun traveling from beach to beach in a reggae boogie-bus and in the evening, charter a sunset cruise or head out to a seaside club and dance the night away. Sunbathe, snorkel or jet ski at a choice of beaches. If you prefer a quieter beach setting, it’s very easy to find one. The island has many long, isolated stretches of perfect white sand and crystal blue waters.

I'm Carla, my loved ones call me Kai. I've been practicing yoga for over 20 years and trained in Rishikesh, India for 500 hours in a Yoga Alliance registered school as a yoga teacher. I teach classical yoga as taught by the yogis of the Himalayan masters. 16 years ago I trained at the Tissserand Institute in London for two years as an therapeutic massage aromatherapist. I live in Barbados and offer daily yoga classes or body treatment. Full details are on my website.
Carla was knowledgeable in tradition of Yoga. Her class was suitable and adaptable for all. She was in tune with her students’ needs and abilities. Her delivery soft and effective. The venue suited the style of Yoga. I highly recommend for new to Yoga and seasoned practitioners. Will definitely return before leaving beautiful Barbados and when next here.

We stayed in worthing for two weeks on our honeymoon, and we visited this beach a lot. It has it all: clean, white sand, turquise warm waters with a lot of fun waves, lots of beach chairs and umbrellas for the fair price of 30 Barbados Dollars for a day, and toilet/bath facilities. There is also a lifeguard tower watching the beach at all times. In the area, there are lots of great places to eat, snack and get some icecream. We went to some different beaches on our trip to Barbados - this was the best of them!

Enterprise Beach looks great in pictures, but it is also good for swimming.
In our opinion the best beach on the island, one that gives you options???? The calm side is great for a long warm bath where you can relax, swim and even talk with other bathers, many returnees amidst the throng of locals. We usually did it in 2-hours stints before towelling down- my partner has rheumatoid arthritis so this is also therapy time for her having been assisted in, as well as, out of the water. After the water it is time to chill on a chair or bench, soaking in the rays and reading a book. Hunger and thirst are sated via a walk into Oistins for a roti from Chefette, KFC, food from a street van or one of the Oistins cafes. Make the effort and take the plunge.

We stayed at Accra hotel (not great/lots of improvement needed) but this beach was perfect! The Tikki bar made it for us and Nicholas the Surf Teacher (by his yellow boat and sunbeds outside Accra Hotel) are our reasons to come back! On our last day we saw him teaching some kids how to surf (ages from 8 and up) and having enquired with their parents watching from the shore we booked my 7 year old Sammy a lesson. Don’t negotiate, he’s a fixed rate if $80 usd for 2 hours (he went over) and he earns every penny! He’s brilliant with kids, great at clear precise teaching and he teaches them up by the safe part at the Tikki bar and if there are no waves he goes to the next beach Dover beach. After just 2 hours my 7 year old (only just turned 7( can surf)! Incredible to watch. Thank you Nicholas. Mick and Jo Bell

St Dominics ticks all the boxes for your Sunday Mass, a welcoming priest & congregation, good choir, great ventilation with massive ceiling fans & ample parking.

Each day I walked from my airbnb to Worthing Beach to swim and/or watch the sunset. I enjoyed the swimming in the easy waves, looking out at the beautiful views, walking the beach chatting with people, and sipping a rum punch at a beach bar.

A great experience of Oistins and far less busy due to Covid. Really tasty fresh fish, red snapper was delish and I recommend Friday here to get your catch of the day!

Take a tour! Find out more about our history, how we brew our beer and then for the ones old enough, sample some delicious ice-cold Banks Beer.
We've been to Barbados 16 times, drunks lots on Banks over the years which we love but never done the tour. Everytime we return to Barbados there is always something new to see. Had a great tour led by Charlottoe who was brilliant. Such a nice lady with a great personality and knew loads about Banks. I will never look at a bottle of Banks again in the same way. Do the tour you wont be disappointed !
