One of the nice things about the Bridal Veil Falls Waterfall is that it's a very short walk from the Parking Lot, ideal for families with young children or even for seniors who can still take a hike with a moderate incline. When we arrived in November, the gates to the park were closed but you can easily park outside the gate and walk to the falls from there (bear left at the fork in the road as you walk up). For Ontario-types, we were amazed by the size of the trees, and the rich mosses (and even ferns!) growing on (and in!) the trees. The falls themselves? The pictures say it all: spectacular.

A great place to walk along the world famous Vedder River. It’s a well maintained trail than has ample parking and portable WC’s along the way. There’s always something different to see, whether it’s fishermen catching salmon and Steelhead or the Bald Eagles doing the same.

BC's original and largest Tulip Festival, located in Chilliwack. Beginning in Spring, the festival runs from 3-5 weeks. With 20+ acres of tulips and the addition of acres of hyacinths and daffodils, the floral displays are truly stunning.
We were a little nervous trekking all the way out on the last day of the festival but the experience was not tainted! There were still thousands of beautifully bloomed tulips and some delusions fresh wildflower honey from the cutest farm stand! Thanks to the sun and a plethora of swings and spots for pictures we got some excellent pictures for the gram! Pet and disability friendly, they even had little booties for the dogs. Already looking forward to next season!

Cultus Lake Waterpark is BC's Biggest Waterpark. Located about a one hour drive from Vancouver, in the popular and beautiful recreational destination, Cultus Lake. We are a family oriented park and provide our guests with rides for all ages. For those thrill seekers out there, we have some of the most extreme waterslides such as the Valley of Fear, Bazooka Bowls, Speedslide and the Freefall. Food is available for purchase, and there are plenty of picnic benches and grassy areas for those of you who are not wanting to waterslide. We also have a selection of hot tubs and spray parks / kiddie areas. With all of our great attractions and continued expansion, you need to come out and see for yourself why Cultus Lake Waterpark is BC's #1 Waterpark!
We stayed 7hrs in rain Perfect Short line ups, hot tubs, kids did a massive amount of stairs. Brought our own snacks but couldn’t resist their food too ( yes expensive, but you could always get a hand stamp, leave and eat and come back in later) Lockers to rent are small, staff friendly and helpful

Amazing spot! You will enjoy yourselves as long as you prepare yourself. I read many reviews to know what to expect. I went up mid-week during the first week of September so everyone was back in school/work. No need to worry about crowds or party-go'ers as mentioned in other reviews. The drive up there was fine but totally see why you should go up with a 4x4/SUV. The are a lot of potholes. Some big, some small. I was expecting waterbars but there were none. Note that it is an active logging road so be prepared for trucks. We first went to the west camp site. Lots of sites but we wanted one closer to the beach. All the good ones were taken already. So we headed to the main site. Drove through the north side of the main site but didn't fancy any of those sites so we headed to the south side. Signs weren't as obvious here so we drove by without knowing. Once you get to the residential part, that means you drove too far. Double back and it should be right before the homes. There are a couple of sites here with direct access to the beach. The sites were generally clean and well-maintained. You do see occasional garbage around There are garbage/recycle bins around. There are pit toilets, picnic table and fire rings. We tried fishing but it looks like you'll have better luck with a boat in the middle of the lake. The ground was rock hard. If your tent requires pegging in, bring a different tent. In the end, you can't beat free.
