I visited here with my family. Although a second generation Canadian as my grandparent immigrated to Canada from Ukraine, this brought back so many memories of growing up and visiting the farm and hearing Babas' and Gidos' stories. Nice exhibits on why Ukrainians came to Canada, how they got here and how they settled in their new country.

Created in 1979, Meewasin is a conservation agency dedicated to conserving the cultural and natural resources of the South Saskatchewan River Valley.
Longest bike path in Canada. Nice walk along the river with plenty to see: wildlife watching, like pelicans and Canadian geese, full of monuments and historic buildings, has outdoor playground and recreational gym facilities and kayak rental, tennis courts and plenty of cafes, galleries and shops with outdoor sitting to enjoy the Meewasin masterpiece landscaping that makes it pleasant for the eye at any time of the year. An annual Saskatchewan marathon path.

The Bassment is a great live jazz and roots music venue in the heart of downtown Saskatoon. Every weekend begins with no cover Piano Friday - live piano, friends, food, and fun. Piano Fridays run from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. As for our shows, there are about two to four every week, sometimes up to six! We provide the best live music experience: great acoustics, atmosphere, drinks, and food. For each event, the doors are open 1 hour prior to the show (Fridays being an exception: then, they are open at 4:30 pm because of Piano Fridays). The Bassment is an all ages venue.
We recently attended the Neil Currie evening featuring Billy Joel songs. As always, it was a great evening. Neil had a head cold, which affected his voice, but he still did a great job and brother Grant filled in nicely at the end when Neil’s voice gave out. The Bassment offers a cosy atmosphere, with good food and drinks. We have always found the service to be good, and our waitress on Saturday was no exception. It is a great gem for our city.

Beautiful place to visit your loved ones that have passed. You can purchase a niche in different sizes to accommodate the size you want for urns. The staff is wonderful to deal with. They have a beautiful Christmas service that you and your family and friends can attend. You can also hold your service there when your lived one has passed.
