We offer farm tours relating to local agriculture including cotton and alfalfa. Learn how cotton is grown from seed to bale. This 2 1/2 to 3 hour tour includes an indoor presentation followed by a hayride out to the field. Cotton is planted in the spring and picked in the fall. We have cotton in the field until mid-February. You will see a cotton picker, cotton module builder and a cotton rood which picks up ground cotton. If cotton is not in the ground, we still offer tours. Please call for information on dates, times and reservations. Reservations are required.
We just visited here for a homeschool field trip while visiting from Oregon during Covid. Absolutely excellent tour. My kids ages 10-13 loved seeing the farm implements, watching the presentation to learn all about the cotton harvest, and especially picking and handling the cotton. She modifies the presentation for younger kids. Nancy is an excellent guide. Highly recommended!

"Grande Escape is Casa Grande's first and only escape game destination. We are locally owned and operated and our games are designed in house. If you're looking for something fun to do in Casa Grande, you won't regret a visit to Grande Escape.
We had a group of 4 friends do Captain Jane's Jellybeans. None of us had ever been to an escape room. We had loads of fun and laughter as we learned each persons strengths and weaknesses in solving puzzles. Great team building experience!

Thsi is a great place to get away to go and unload, literally!!! I have friends whom live in Casa Grande and we go out to this range as often as possible. It has 3 sections to it and if I remember there is a police and sherrifs range right next door (in the desert) There usually is no range master present so you need to police yourself on safety. This also allows you to bring a variety of weapons that would not normally be alllowed because of those restrictions, and it is not uncommon to see people whith large numbers of weapons here. Every time I have gone there I have seen some guns I have ever seen before but the mojority of the people are very pleasant, because of this I have been allowed to fire these guns and become familiar with them. If I could remember names I would thank them but I dont. When you come here you will have a great time . .just make sure you do so responsibly!!

The Pinal County Fairgrounds and Event Center is a multi-purpose facility with a variety of amenities. It features some of the best events in central Arizona. Events include the Pinal County Fair in March, the Agri-Country Bluegrass Festival and Car Show in January, Wuertz Farm's Gourd Festival in February, and the Arizona Classic Livestock Show.
The Gourd Festival is over for the season, but keep an eye open for next year. Live entertainment, gourd judging in the Pinal County Fairground building, hand-crafted gourds for sale from vendors from many states, gourd games for the children, live entertainment, food vendors, hundreds of dried gourds for sale just waiting for your creative ideas, lots of free parking and I must mention the play on the word 'gourd' which brought smiles to our faces. A very fun day.

This is a great example of Native American architecture and ingenuity, as well as an example of how our National Park Services do a PNNL outstanding job with the limited resources that they get. This is a free park and is well worth the visit.
