Carrboro is a town in Orange County in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The population was 19,582 at the 2010 census. The town, which is part of the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill combined statistical area, was named after North Carolina industrialist Julian Shakespeare Carr.

One of the best Farmer's market I have been to and I try to go to them in new cities that we travel to. You can find everything here you need for cooking a great meal from beef to pork to fresh vegetables to roasted peppers (roasted right there) salts, flowers, eggs, soap, bread...you name it!

Founded in 1973 by a small group of women as a self sustaining artisan co-op, WomanCraft is one of the oldest continuously operating artisan co-ops in the U.S. Today, our membership is as diverse as the items we sell. This includes the work of more than 60 local artisans whose creativity is displayed through original art, prints, cards, jewelry, pottery, turned wood, mosaics, glass (stained glass, fused glass and painted glass), fabric items, home accessories and children's items, too.
