Vin en Vacances is a vineyard tour company owned by Wendy Gedney, an English woman and wine teacher with a passion for this wonderful area and its wines. Not only will you have a thoroughly enjoyable day, you will also learn a great deal about wine and tasting. Her aim is to provide you with an experience that you can’t easily create for yourself and during the day you will explore the regions, meet some of the most interesting vignerons, taste their wines and enjoy a superb lunch. Wendy's tours always include other fabulous things such as a visit to a goat farm, a pretty village or olive oil tasting.

I started sailing at a young age between the Canary Islands and Morocco and became a captain at the age of 17. Then a stay of 8 years in the Netherlands allowed me to discover the world of the river. For 18 years already I have been sailing with the superb Esperance barge and I offer cruises and stays at the quay in the enchanting setting of the Canal du Midi very close to the sea.

Having taken charge of a beautiful Linssen 32 our first challenge having passed the short introduction to boating on the the Canal Du Midi was to negotiate the Capestang bridge with our Bimini cover trying to reach out to the bridge! We made and went on to enjoy a most beautiful week heading upstream on one of the most relaxing and oldest canals in Europe.
