Californian Massage

Californian Massage is an affective massage which consists of enveloping and modeling the entire body with the help of oils, alternating between slow, fluid, light and firm movements. The Californian Massage touches the deepest level of the body-mind system, thus becoming a source of strong self-healing. It positively affects the healing of psychosomatic problems like depression hypertension, anxiety, stress, anorexia, bulimia, insomnia, panic attacks, and addiction to psycho drugs. Indeed it has extraordinary beneficial effects on mental activity, emotions and psychical health by moving our attention and energies from the mind to the body with a two-fold effect: on the one hand personal thoughts calm down and find a more appropriate role in the person's activity, on the other the person perceives the awakening of his psycho-bodily conscience by recovering hidden emotions inscribed in the body's memory. A stronger perception of reality is therefore achieved as well as a higher level of self-confidence and an easier acceptance of life. Relationships will be e stimulated and become more successful.

Mala Beach Coastal Path

Reviewed By gremmietraveller - London, United Kingdom

Out of peak season with the warm June sunshine breaking through it really is a lovely coastal scenic walk. We started from Cap d'ail making our way to the borders of Monaco. The walk with the high cliffs on one side and the turquoise waters of the sea on the other is breathtaking. Along the way there are places where you can make your way to into the sea via the strange rock formations so if you do want to swim best to have some plastic shoes to avoid getting cut. Once you reach the borders of Monaco there are a few beach front restaurants which do great salads and fish dishes before setting back. If you are interested there are several grand villas sign posted like The Rock, inhabited by the rich and famous like Greta Garbo. Once you make your way back to Cap d'ail why not pay a visit to "Le parc Sacha Guitry" with its Mediterranean flora and rare plants. It also gives you an insight as to what living in one of these villas would be like with your own garden and terraces and beautiful sea views. Do take note to wear suitable footwear and if it is very hot, then hats and sunscreen is a must

Sentier du Littoral de Cap d'Ail

Reviewed By RoxanaTravelReview - Greenwich, United States

This is the third year in a row that we're visiting Cap D'Ail and each time we walk the pedestrian path along the water, it's like falling in love for the first time. This is the perfect setting to bring back romance into your life! The contrast between the blue azure of the ocean and the sun-bleached white rocks is enough to make you want to take out brush and canvass and start painting. Make sure to bring a camera. There are a number of ways to access this beautiful sentier. You can park your car at the Cap D'Ail train station and walk down some steps, just follow the pedestrian signs. You can reach it through narrow lanes off the Avenue du Trois Septembre. Again, look for and follow the blue pedestrian signs. These narrow streets take you past magnificent private homes, gardens and villas. Be careful and stay close to the side of the road since these barely accommodate both cars and pedestrians at the same time. Another way to access this lovely walk is to start from the Tennis Center of Monaco/Cap D'Ail heading west toward Mala Beach. You'll find several restaurants along the way. There are no bicycles allowed and dogs on a leash are welcome. Informational signs posted along the way tell you about the local marine life. There are lots of cacti and coastal flora along the way. This path is closed by the Mairie (town hall) during inclement weather. I totally get it. I took a fall last year on a wet and slippery part of the path after they reopened it following a storm. The views of the ocean, cliffs, birdlife and homes are simply spectacular. There are some steps and inclines along the way but it's mostly a flat walk. The steepest part of this path is when you're reaching Mala beach that requires you to go up and down several steps. It's a unique experience and absolutely free.
