Sunny Cancun has much more to offer than its party-town reputation might suggest. Plenty of gorgeous, drama-free family resorts cater to folks who want to experience the tropical Yucatan climate. There are significant Mayan ruins here, such as El Rey and the Yamil Lu’um, a crumbling tower of pale gray stone. Learn more about this ancient civilization at the Museo Maya de Cancun. For a literal taste of Mexico, take a tour of the Museo Sensorial del Tequila.

If you are tired of the standard beaches along the Hotel Zone, visit Playa Delfines, a beautiful and very large beach with fine sand and slightly intense waves located near El Rey archaeological zone. Here, you can rent chairs and beach umbrellas as well as bring your own drinks and snacks. You will also find bathrooms, showers, "palapas" and parking lot, all these services totally free. Here you will also find a beautiful wooden lookout with the colorful "Cancún" sign that appears on many of the city´s postcards and brochures.

La Isla is the best quality shopping to be found in Cancun. It’s actually several shopping hubs connected to each other across the street from hotel row, making it a wonderful perk for resort clients. It appears to be inspired by Venice, boasting bridges and canals and then sea, even pirate boats. In addition to hosting over a hundred shops to include many specialty stalls, souvenir stores, low to high-end fashion (Zara, Massimo Dutti, Louis Vuitton etc), Haagen-Dazs and many great restaurants, it houses an aquarium amusement park where you can even swim with dolphins. Lots of locals hang here along with the multitude of resort clients. If you want to shop in Cancun, this is the place. Check out Wayang for cool Mexican resort wear.

Cancun Rotating Scenic Tower is a wonderfull attracttion where you will enjoy and capture Mexican Caribbean´s Best View in a great trip to 370 ft osl. This activity is for all family, we have continuous rides and we are open every day from 9 am to 9 pm. Adult admission Fee $ 20.00 USD Children betwen 5 and 11 years old pay half price. See you soon !!!
Perfect place to see Cancun from above. Wish it was higher though, but it delivers what's promised. You can either buy tickets at the entrance, or use your free trial of the tower once you've got Xcaret tickets. Usually, queues aren't too bad and, as the elevator ascends, a guided tour audio commences depicting all aspects of the city of Cancun. It a really great one, and a tour to the tour is highly recommended. The whole tour takes around 25/30 minutes, and the air con is just perfect.

At Xoximilco the party is for everyone. Family, friends, couples or alone, the mood is set for everyone who wants to spend a great night. To accomplish this, we make sure that according to the sort of party you want to experience you will be accompanied by people who want to have the same kind of fun as you. It doesn’t matter if your party plan is casual, with couples or family, Xoximilco Cancun always has the right mood for you to enjoy it to the fullest.
My husband and I didn't really know what to expect when going into Xoximilco, but let me tell you it was the most fun we had in all of our trip! Paulino (our group host) and Fernando (our captain) were the best! They made everything fun for us that night. We saw boats next to us on our stops who were sitting in their seats and my husband and I were glad we weren't on those boats. Paulino encouraged all of us to have fun, get up and dance, sing, and take tequila shots. We also got very lucky with our group of people. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We all got acquainted because of Paulino's introduction game. We even hung out with some people on our boat at Hotel Xcaret. We were all grateful of Fernando because he worked hard to steer the gondola from point A to B to C etc. If you want to go have a good time, this is the place to go! Make sure you ask for Paulino and Fernando.

Challenge all your limits at Xavage, the only park in Cancun and Riviera Maya with the boldest activities through the air, in land and on water. Unleash the wild within and face the power of water, go through roads full of obstacles and conquer the heights. Live this adrenaline-filled challenge and follow your instincts.
Had the chance to visit Xavage during our visit to Xcaret Hotel. Like all Xcaret parks, you get free admission to all of the experiences by staying at the all inclusive Xcaret Hotel. They provide direct, luxury coach transportation to the park so that you arrive at park opening and leave at close. The xperiences were great as many other have attested. You really need to leave plenty of time for the ropes course (but you can stop whenever you want and just climb down one of the support poles). The river rafting was a lot of fun along with the ATV driving. Being there during low season meant the park was pretty much empty. We had no lines and able to do many of the xperiences multiple times. I would challenge anyone to find a better buffet dining experience at a theme park. Compared to any of the amusement parks we have visited in the US, the food here was amazing. Bring your towel, sunscreen, and water shoes and sturdy shoes for the climbing. The hammoks by the kids area to conclude the day were great!!!

The past meets the present in this ancient Mayan structure located right in the middle of Cancun's Hotel Zone.
We stayed at the Crown Paradise hotel and walked across the street to this place. We took a lot of kids to get away from the pools for awhile. The adults and 16 year old cost 55 pesos each. The kids were free. They loved it as much as I and especially spotting iguanas! I hope this society has more visitors so they can afford story signs. I found myself wanting more information!

Open park like area with many vendors in tents or buildings. We sampled different types of burritos, tacos and French fries. Food quality was very good and prices were very low compared to restaurants. There were dancers performing with lively Spanish music during our visit on a Sunday evening. Many families were there enjoying the music and family time. There were some tourists so this place must be a well kept secret. Washrooms are available for 5 pesos per use. Close to many restaurants and commercial area on Ave.Tulum, ADO centro bus station and two blocks from Chedraui on Tulum. There was a tent with registered massage therapists providing 30 or 60 minute massages. I've had many deep tissue massage and the therapists were excellent. The cost was only 8 dollars CAD for 30 minutes. Well worthwhile for an effective yet relaxing massage with essential oils. I visited two separate occasions and both times the therapists were excellent. This attraction is a must visit to experience Cancun culture in a safe environment.
