Imposing architecture and breathtaking scenery combine to make Ha Ha Tonka State Park one of Missouri’s most treasured spots. Located on the Lake of the Ozarks, the park features the stone ruins of a turn-of-the-20th-century castle built by a prominent Kansas City businessman high atop a bluff. More than 15 miles of trails traverse the park, leading visitors to sinkholes, natural bridges, caves and down to the lake.
This was a one day trip from St Louis, MO and the park was so amazing to see all the different things to see - - from a spring to hike down to...........to seeing the Ozarks waters..........the remains of a castle, carriage house and the water tower...........to just enjoying hikes to a spring and cave.............so much beautiful scenery. The trails are all made of wooden boards with rails also. Very much worth a day trip.

What a beautiful setting for lunch and a "getaway" from lake life. The service was friendly and informative re: wine choices. The prices seemed to be in line with the gorgeous surrounding. All they need is a fire pit to go with that water feature and that amazing setting and it would be a perfect place!

We showed up and were taken into his “work shop” . Where he came out and started joking with the crowd of 20 + people. He told us how he got started which was when he was 16 making beer for friend’s. Then he walked us into his life one story at a time this was very interesting. He also had a batch of something I can not remember what it was called but we could look into it and smell it then he told us what it was and what he did with it . He also showed us how he makes Apple Spice Moon Shine. After wards we got to buy product and he has a sheet of paper so that you know what to mix with what. This is a 5 star attraction for sure.

We saw some negative reviews so we were hesitant to bring our son and his children to BigSurf Waterpark. They are from the Chicago area and well traveled so a substandard attraction is a disappointment for us. We didn't need to worry because they had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave after five hours! We rented a cabana and had lunch, too. The food was good and the waterpark staff was helpful. We will be back!

Rated as one of the most scenic caverns in America, Bridal Cave has more formations per square foot than any other known cave or cavern in the United States. Park facilities include visitors center, cave tours, gift shop, rock shop, boat dock(on Lake of the Ozarks), nature trails, gemstone mining and observation tower. Open Year Round.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The location is scenic. The road going there is steep and might be a challenge for large RVs. The cave is pretty and has many fascinating formations. I would say that if you have been through several other caves you may not find this to be that exciting. We have been through about a dozen and we have decided that there must be something e trembly unique before we venture into another.

Fishing Guide Service on Lake of the Ozarks. I teach people how to become better fsherman. We fish for Bass, Crappie, White Bass, and Catfish. Guided trips on the lake, below Bagnel dam on the Osage River, and lower Niangua river. Serving Osage Beach, Linn Creek, Camdenton, Lake Ozark, and Laurie areas. Everyone from tournament fisherman to the beginner fisherman appreciate my help.
My family is still talking about the great time they had during their fishing trip. Jack was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. Within the four hour trip, my husband and kids caught over 30 fish, consisting of crappie, bass, bluegill and catfish. Not only did they have fun, but they also learned the different fishing techniques for the different species of fish. My husband said that hiring Jack as our fishing guide was "well worth the money."

18-hole par 71 championship golf course located next to the Auglaize river in Linn Creek, Missouri.
We visit Lake of the Ozarks every year and play Deer Case every year. I have a love-hate relationship with this course. It is drop dead gorgeous but some of the holes leave me talking to myself (mumbling is more accurate)! The (very nice) clubhouse is in a fairly deep valley and many of the holes rise on the slopes above. On #11, if you have even a slight fade (slice) is easy to find the edge and potentially roll down 5-10 feet. #12 is a long par 3 uphill that I have yet to par. On #10, a perfect tee shot will leave you in a position where you are tempted to grab your long iron and try to clear the picturesque lake that borders #1 & #10. I can't tell you how many balls I've fed that lake!
But each hole is unique and beautiful.
At the turn, a small but delightful snack bar will fix you up with some excellent food, soft and hard drinks as well as beer. Prices for food are reasonable.
We were going out to eat afterward so I took a change of clothes and used their shower in eth men's locker room.
We've played many of the courses in the area and this is the best buy at the Lake!
If you are in the Lake of the Ozarks area, check this place out!
You may end up mumbling on some of the holes , but hey, that's golf!

This semi-private, 18-hole championship golf course offers something for every golfer with a unique combination of six par threes, six par fours, and six par fives.
I was HOPING to find a place t golf with my son on a busy holiday weekend and was pleasantly surprised when I called on Sat morning and was told they could get us off BY OURSELVES at noon. We arrived a little early and hit a couple buckets of balls. The guy in the pro shop was very friendly. After explaining that my son was relatively new, he promised to not send another group off too close behind us. We played a great round on a fun but not too challenging coarse. Keep in mind that we played from the seniors tees so it was shorter than I was used to. I want to go back and play from the pro tees. I enjoyed the terrain, but would not want to walk this one... The hills and log par 5's would wear me out! All in all, nice clean, well maintained and very friendly place to play a round.
