The Batwa Indigenous Empowerment Program is a community based organization started and managed by the educated indigenous batwa themselves. It is located in the Rushaga region of Bwindi national park. We offer a number of activities aiming to show our clients the vegetation, wildlife and Batwa culture. 80 procent of the profits generated by our activities are invested in the Batwa community.
