What an absolute wonderful gallery and shop, you are able to purchase everything displayed. Gosh wish I had known about theis palce earlier this year as we commissioned a table to be made and still waiting. I saw what I wanted here, superb Dining tables. My wife fell in love with a female torso that is made with single pieces of wood put together perfectly. Take your time not a place to rush through.

We started with the rear yard and worked our way through an incredible assortment of garden items old, refurbished, upcycled and new. Then went through a lovely indoor/outdoor area of plant and garden pariphinalia before arriving in the showroom. What a fun place! so full of great items. I wouldn't want to do a stocktake in there but its a fun place to shop!

I booked the Lark Hill Cellar Door tasting to finish up a weekend getaway in Bungendore. To comply with CovidSafe requirements, bookings are currently required for cellar door tastings, cost $10 per person and are set for 45 minutes. My partner and I were both happy with this arrangement, particularly once we arrived on Monday morning and found that we were the only people booked in for tasting at the 11:00 timeslot and our table had already been prepared for us in the small, but charming, cellar door area. The tables were well spaced in the event there were more people, which I understand there are on Saturdays and Sundays and I would really recommend booking a tasting and trying the wines. The tasting consisted of 6 wines from Lark Hill's Bungendore and Murrembateman vineyards, 3 whites and 3 reds. My partner, who is a red drinker, discovered he really liked the Gruner Veltliner (a more uncommon wine in Australia made from Austrian grapes) and ended up buying a bottle of it in addition to the Pinot Noir and Syrah. The gentleman who conducted the tasting was really friendly and helpful, explaining all of the wines to us, as well as explaining and demonstrating the very nifty Coravin tool for pouring and preserving the wine. He was also very kind in letting me (the driver who wasn't trying the other wines) try the Dial M for Marsanne dessert wine, which I thought was really nice - sweet and smooth. He also gave my partner some Pinot Noir to try, which wasn't on the tasting menu but is one of my partner's favourite wines. The wines are certified organic and biodynamic, and the grapes grown using sustainable practices, which was the main reason I selected this winery over the others in the same area for our weekend getaway. Overall, we had a really good experience (capped off by a delicious lunch at the winery restaurant afterwards). We bought a number of bottles of wine and will definitely go back in the future, as well as recommend it to other people.
