This 40-acre island in the middle of the Cumberland River is great for fishing.
We arrived as a group of 12 separate campers (part of a camping club) - they had us booked close to each other. Staff was polite and knowledgeable, clean bathrooms and well maintained lawn. The swimming pool was closed. We will return someday.

This park has had renovation's since my last visit. It has a beautiful stone walkway. The falls are gorgeous. The lake is a scenic view from the mill. The walking is very steep for anyone with walking difficulty. Enjoy your day here.

This is a must see and do family activity each year. You can pick your own apples and shop in their gift shop. The Haney family is always hospitable and knowledgeable about their products. They have lots of "Kentucky Proud" items that are unique to this part of the country. You have to try a famous apple pie, apple cider slushie, or carmel apple.

I don't understand why this isn't on more maps. It is right off of a main road, and you only have to walk a few hundred feet to an overlook to get a magnificent view. Highly recommended on a waterfalls/natural bridges hiking excursion!

Great day on the lake. Burnside Marina is coming along. The staff were professional and very friendly. We rented a pontoon and had a great day on the water. Everything was clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend and we plan to return. Would really like to rent a house boat for a couple of days. The water was warm and pleasant the surrounding beautiful

This is part of the Mills Spring Battlefield Tour. If you want to only stop at one place on the tour then this should be it. A wake up call on history and should not be forgotten and this park will tell you that

Still waiting for the repairs on Wolf Creek Dam to be finished so that we can dock our boat here again. No water at all there at present. The facilities are fine, but it was the lake that was the draw.

Was visiting family in the area. Took granddaughter to the water park. There was a special promotion going on, where the first 400 kids got in free. My granddaughter got the last ticket. I was a "land lover", so I only paid $3.00 + tax. BUT, if I had to pay for granddaughter, it would have been $14.95 + tax. Too much money for a couple hours of playtime at the pool. She had fun. Pool was very crowded also.
