The owners of this store were in the Peace Corps in Tibet way back when, and they lived there for over 30 years. Most of the gorgeous goods are from Tibet and include tons of textiles of all types and sizes, jewelry, Buddhist singing bowls, and also fair trade goods from Africa. Prices vary widely but if you love one of a kind items for yourself or as a gift for someone special, check this shop out! It’s on the main thoroughfare in Bridgman near other shopping and restaurants. My family practically had to drag me out of there!

Such a great beach. Clean and uncrowded. I love that the restrooms are centrally located and easily accessible. One of the great benefits to this beach is that there are a few trees along the edge of the parking lot, giving lovely shade to the hot sand. A resource officer made the rounds regularly and kept things under control. All in all, a great experience.

We loved the Dunes!! My teen daughter and i drove less about 1 1/2 hrs from Chicago and it was a very nice getaway. We went on a Wednesday and there were some people but not crowded. Family-friendly beach. People were considerate of COVID and wore their marks to the bathrooms. I will definitely come back and explore their campgrounds next time.

Located just off of I-94, our Bridgman Tasting Room is perfect for quick stops or extended stays in the area. It offers the same great tasting experience as our main winery, where our resident wine experts lead you through our wine menu to sample, including our award-winning Grand Mark. You can view our tasting menu here: https://taborhill.com/assets/Menus/th-bridgman-menu.pdf
These wines were dynamite!! We had a great time taste testing all the different wines! Came with a group of 10 people! We were all blown away by the wine!! My favorites were the Pinot Blanc and Moscato!

We visited Captain Mike’s to take a break from the beach. We went with another couple and our 5 children’s ages ranged from 3-10. Everyone had a blast. My husband and I loved the bumper boats. We ended up spending about $100 for about and 1.5-2 hours of fun. You pay cash to purchase tickets to each activity. Activities range from $5-$7. There was an arcade with tickets and prizes. We will definitively go again next year. The staff was friendly and helpful and the place is well kept. They also have picnic tables all around and concessions.

We have tried almost every beer. We are so excited about this being in Bridgman. Sour ales are my wife's favorite beers and we couldn't recommend any sours higher than these, not just because it is in our town, but because of the aftermath of good quality creativity on the part of Transient Artisan Ales. The space is clean and has lots of natural light with the big window in the front. The entire facility is gorgeous, and Chris (owner and brewer) would likely be pleased to give you a tour if it isn't too busy. Rachel, who will likely take your order, is extremely friendly and personable. It is easy to pick up Chris' passion for excellent beer, and it goes beyond passion because the quality is darn near perfect. Enjoy...we certainly will be!
