I was over the moon when I came here and was caught completely off guard.
I did not expect such a sight! Absolutely beautiful! A real natural escape from the hustle and bustle of city life!
Ten times better than Uzungöl which is now over run by tourists and ruined by countless hotels.

If you like nature with green Forests and several lakes, you will enjoy Yedigoller National Park. It is a daily activity. There is no chance to stay at a hotel. Another problem is accessibility. You should tolerate to the roads climbing to Mountains and they are not comfortable like highway. But if you have time it deserves to go.

On our way to Göreme we stopped at Abant lake to take a little travel break. What a great idea it was! You can take a nice walk by the lakeside and enjoy a tea or coffee in one of the restaurants there. It is not very touristy which I really enjoyed. Lots of locals come here to spend the day by the lake and enjoy a picnic with their family. It is a very quiet and relaxing place and very well worth a visit.

We have done more shopping in this outlet than Istanbul. The restaurant and shops are high end quality. If you are staying in Bulo or Abant, the outlet has supermaekt that has almost your daily needs. They have children corner which is really good. For family like mine with young children, you can rent a stroller at the reception.
this place is really good to do some shopping or just to spend few hours

This small (and free of charge) museum in a mountain resort can surprise you with its lovely display. Apart from an average ethnographic section, it stores the artefacts from ancient Bithynion-Claudiopolis, located underneath the center of modern Bolu. Being the birthplace of Roman emperor Hadrian's favorite - Antinous - the city was flourishing in the 2nd century AD. The ancient luxury can be seen in the spectacular marble fragments preserved in the museum. One of the highlights inside is the colorful marble bust of a woman and an impressive gravestone of a gladiator with a helmet. The best part of the museum is probably in its courtayrd, with many findings that come from rescue excavations at recent construction sites: Roman sarcophagi, funerary reliefs, inscriptions, altars and exquisite architecture pieces. And they are remarkably well labeled (with excellent epigraphic explanations), especially in comparison to similar small museums throughout Turkey. The Bolu museum could definitely benefit from better brochures ot information panels inside.
