Red Mountain Trail Rides lived up to everything our tour promised and more. We did the 3.5-hour winery trail ride with lunch. Our guide was knowledgeable and informative about the vineyards, the wineries, and the history of the area. The horses were docile yet with...MoreThanks for the great review! Located on 300 acres of renown wine grape region Red Mountain in eastern Washington state, Terra Blanca Winery and Estate Vineyard's beautiful winery has panoramic views of the lower Yakima Valley. At the tasting room guests are invited to sample a variety of premium wines.
The view is so fabulous through the many windows and porch area, it is like a movie screen image. Plenty of elbow room in the tasting area, lovely covered porch with tables to linger on. On summer weekends they fire up wood burning pizza oven. They two different tasting menus, and in our experience over the years, it is not a question of whether you like anything, but rather, which you cannot live without and which you regrettably leave behind. Outstanding service and knowledgeable staff, lovely grounds.

We are a new family owned and operated winery located at the base of Red Mountain, in Benton City WA. We make small lots of hand crafted wine sourced from local vineyards. Our goal is to introduce truly hand-crafted Washington wines, at a reasonable price, while also providing a brief education and synopsis of each wine served. As of 2017 we have completed our wedding venue and event center. If you're hosting a special event in our area, we ask that you keep us in mind, as we are truly one of a kind!
The location of this winery is just down the road from Terra Blanca; while TB has the WOW factor, Tucannon Cellars is beautiful and cozy all in its own class. Our small group visited on a rainy day, so foot traffic was down. It worked out great, as we got a lot of personal attention from Ethan.
This is truly a family business. Ethan is very knowledgeable about the wines they produce. The owners stopped in and we got to visit with them for a little bit. The tasting room is small, with a sitting area next to a fireplace. There is a deck built around this mature tree, how unique is that!! Would love to visit when the weather is warmer to enjoy the view. They have the new Sugar Pine Barn for events, e.g. weddings. Very ideal setting.
Now on to the wines: obviously that is very subjective. We enjoyed both whites and reds; ended up purchasing red blends and a Malbec. Phil, the owner, even took us to the barrel room to sample the Carménère when he found out we've visited Chile recently and got introduced to the variety.
It is apparent they are passionate about the wines they have. We planned a brief visit, but ended up lingering for this wonderful experience. Keep up the good work!
Tasting fee is $10, complimentary with wine purchase.

We plant grapes. We grow grapes. We make wine. We sell wine. All on Red Mountain. And all as a family. Come taste wine.
In reviewing wineries it's tough because it's all subjective to your palate... in this case I was not a fan of the wine and that is just a personal opinion, the price points or fine, the location was beautiful and the people were nice... so that is why it got a 2 out of 5 because it is totally a personal opinion with wineries

My husband and I visited this winery based on the reviews and we were not disappointed! The tasting room is beautiful. We also received a tour of their French country kitchen...nice! The winery was offering a tasting of six wines (1 white, 4 reds, and a port) for $10; $5 of which was refundable if a purchase was made. My husband and I both got our own tasting. The pours were quite nice and we honestly could have shared a tasting. While the winery was quite busy, I would have liked to have heard a little more details about each wine that was poured. We did enjoy the wines! Their estate is beautiful with great views. My husband and I walked through some of the vineyards checking out the grapes and vines. We would definitely recommend this winery...just share a tasting so you are not in the tasting room for so long and can get out and enjoy the view!

This winery used to have by reservation tasting only, they are now open with regular tasting hours. It is pretty easy to get to, close to many Benton City wineries. The structures are quite impressive. The stairs ascend up to the terrace. The tasting room is quite airy and comfortable.
From the terrace, you can get a sweeping view to the vast vineyard. They only have red wines. Prices are towards the higher end, but all quite good.
Current tasting fee is $17, waived with purchase of wine.

Fidelitas is loyal to Bordeaux grape varieties; loyal to modern, small-lot winemaking; and true to the terroir of Red Mountain.
We came here for a couples night out. This is definitely one of the nicest tasting rooms I've been to. Beautiful views! Great decor inside; lots of wood and wine barrels. The wine is very good! I especially enjoyed the Cabs, they were so smooth! We left with 3 bottles. They also have a tasting room in Woodinville that we are going to try out. We would absolutely god back.

Frichette Winery is a family owned limited production winery crafting wines that showcase the best of Red Mountain and the Columbia Valley AVAs. Our wines are available in our tasting room on Red Mountain, through our wine club and a handful of restaurants and specialty shops in the Pacific Northwest. Owned by Greg & Shae Frichette, Greg is from Pasco, Shae from South Carolina. Both were living in Southern California when they met, married, and had their son Jayden. They wanted to move closer to family in either South Carolina or Washington. With a flip of a coin, the coin toss determined they would relocate to Washington. Both agreed when they moved, they wanted to create a business that would give them goose bumps. With a little research and cheerleading from friends, they decided to go into wine, opening their tasting room in 2013 and offering their first vintage of 2011 with 650 cases of wine. Today, Frichette is a 1000 case winery hosting events for wine club members and guests from all over the world.
What a lovely surprise! I don't know which I liked better, the wine or the winemakers. A lovely couple runs this place and they are warm and inviting. The wines are very interesting and delicious. This winery is located away from the others in Benton City, at the foot of Horse Heaven Hill. Beautifully designed and decorated tasting room, with a slide-up door that opens to their patio area, great for a nice summer day. The view to the area is fantastic!!
They also serve a few local brews along with seasonal flatbread. We enjoyed both the white and red wines. Especially the Cuvee and the syrah & merlot. Price point is on the higher end, so purchase would be weighed with other more affordable wineries.
Our hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable, somewhat distracted with wine club members coming in to pick up their shipments (also training a new staff). Overall, very positive experience.
Tasting fee is $10, waived with wine purchase.

A Red Mountain Estate Winery. Come see what the buzz is all about. Cheers to your #estategrown tasting esperience, Neil Cooper
