My daughter does crafts with sea glass from Lake Ontario and while we were in PEI we went to Point Prim Lighthouse to see a demonstration of the sea glass collected.in that area. We met the nicest couple Goldie and Gilbert ..He was demonstrating a beautiful lamp using very soft opaque coloured sea glass.. Goldie had a nice pamphlet she had made on light houses. They have one.of three round lighthouses on the island at this location. Goldie and Gilbert had gotten married at this location in the ,70's.. We got tickets for the lighthouse but because of the steep stairs was unable to go up.. They have a beautiful gift shop with all kinds of unique one of a kind items. To my surprise they sold PEI rum cake. I purchased this for s friend and am waiting to see how it compares to the Caribbean ones. Washrooms were spotless and we changed into bathing suits to go into the water for ses shells. Highly recommend.. we spent a few hours there.Everyone very friendly..

The magic of the pull as you fight to bring it in. That is what you will experience at Ben's Lake the only operation in eastern PEI where you can catch & release. : The bird watching around the chalet and lake is exceptional.
