Great, scenic path. Adaptable for a long or short distance by leaving the path at many locations. It is never crowded and the playground at the Fallston end it wonderful

Known for its excellent trout fishing, the topography of this scenic park includes tidal marshes and wetlands to steep, rugged slopes.
We hiked The Little Gunpowder Trail with pretty little waterfalls and a gentle little stream that wound its way along the peaceful trail! There's a big boulder area with lots to climb and leap over for the more adventurous one in your group, like my husband! Even on an early Spring day this little trail packs a lot of scenic views to enjoy and soak in with cozy little nooks to stop and drink in the peace and stillness along the water's edge!

Once the heart of a bustling Quaker settlement in the 18th and 19th centuries, the 230-year old Jerusalem Mill is now a Museum and Visitor Center.
This place seems like a nice collection of historic buildings, and it kind of is. However... the blacksmith shop was bristling with activity, and although we have seen many blacksmiths in action, it's always kind of fascinating, so we watched. Next was a trip across the street to the mill, which was closed. It's run by volunteers, but the person for the mill was not able to open up. So we wandered to the Miller's house behind it, and talked about muskets with a volunteer there. My 6-year-old granddaughter was not terribly impressed, and was getting a bit impatient, so we took off for two other things, which both turned out to be fun.
First, we walked down to the Gunpowder River which runs right next to the mill (as rivers tend to do), and walked along the shore, across a footbridge, and across some rocks. She loved the exploration. The next stop was the mill's general store a couple hundred yards away. Much more activity here, and there was a scavenger hunt for the kids, which turned out to be fun for her. It was a nice stop and a pleasant visit.

One of the most popular vineyards in the state is now open for tours
Driving home from Hunt Valley on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and looking for a diversion. What about Boordy's? Hadn't been there for a few years. Found it in our nav system and followed its directions to the property.
Lots of cars in the parking area. At least three dudes directing traffic. A white limo in the lot down the hill to the right. A wedding maybe? Why not? A beautiful setting with no shortage of wine.
About 8 people in line at the entry point purchasing wine tasting tickets. Walked by without doing so. So many people in or about the wine tasting building! Many families at the picnic tables or relaxing on blankets. Inside the main building, the tasting bar there was also packed.
Couldn't leave empty handed. Picked up a bottle of Landmark Reserve and greatly enjoyed it with Korean barbeque at home that evening.

I came in for a hair cut/color/highlights and seen a silver level hair stylist (Amanda). She is my go to person and has done a great job with my hair. The atmosphere is classy and comfortable. Everyone is very friendly. Be prepared to be pampered...MoreThank you for the great feedback!

The house itself is lovely, with original furnishings and period pieces from around the world. The gardens are extensive (I just wish more of the plants were labeled); the topiaries are whimsical. But the HIGHLIGHT is the Butterfly house!! There are butterflies, caterpillars and moths in various stages, signs explaining the different types, and even magnifying glasses to see the tiny eggs. Docents are available to answer any questions. It really is a wonderful learning experience - and not just for children! Additionally, they offer evening summer concerts on the lawn with catered food available for sale. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay for the concert, but bring your own chair and enjoy a lovely evening in a beautiful location.

Rocks State Park has a variety of activities for all ages. It was the setting of several scenes in the movie " Tuck Everlasting". Kilgore Falls, also known as Falling Branch, is the second-highest waterfall in the state. The King & Queen Seat can be accessed by hiking or driving to the adjacent parking lot.

small, neat, clean, intimate - bad PA system couldn't hear sitting in seats at end of left field foul line - with organized group "free food" just barely warm - beer $6.50 can - so close to the field we could hear the thud of the baseball in the mitt as the players were warming up in the outfield at the foul line

Whenever I'm in the mood for ice cream I head to Prigel's. They produce some of the best tasting, creamy, and wholesome products around including ice cream, yogurt, fresh milk, ice cream cakes, etc. It just doesn't get any better!!! Organic milk from their grass fed cows is my weakness... I can't seem to drink store bought milk anymore. They also have a huge variety of ice cream flavors to choose from but I am partial to Bobbys Black Mud, it's decadent! If you are looking for a nice family outing in the "country" where you can literally see the cows that produce the organic milk for the products you are consuming, then give them a try. I have been buying products from them since they opened and will continue to be a loyal customer.

We were in town for an event and decided to visit the local Craft Beer Microbrewery. A great selection of beers. We enjoyed a couple of flights and then some. The bartender was pleasant, informative and attentive. There was a food truck out back where you could order and they delivered your food to you inside. Nice touch. I'm a dark beer guy and they satisfied my needs/wants. A great visit and we will be back when in the area.
