I didn't go to the museum. I just came for the Roadside America Dalmatian fire hydrant attraction! Most definitely worth the stop! So much so that when we came through for our Florida trip we stopped again to bring my eight year old niece. She loved it. So did the teens in the car who didn't want to stop.

Beautiful and peaceful but because the indoor area is like a walk-through terrarium, it's very warm and humid. The water features and small bridge add to it's beauty. The lush indoor garden area provides exceptional picture taking opportunities. A must-see especially for those who live in Southeast Texas and those who enjoy the peace and tranquility of walking through areas of lush green foliage.

There was no charge, but a request for donations at the door ( $5/adult, $2(?) child)
