This is definitely the most beautiful, romantic and relaxing beach to visit in the Seychelles. Park your car near the casino and take the breathtaking walk through exquisite Gardens to reach the beach which is located near the Four Seasons Hotel. Day visitors are allowed. Drinks and snacks are available at the bar and restaurant, but are pretty expensive.

It was our absolute pleasure meeting Antoine and spending a day with him travelling around Mahe! Antoine has showed us round island's gems and tourist attraction spots. On the way from one point to another he has also kindly told us the history of Seychelles with lots of interesting facts. He was also kind to stop by the locals that were selling jams etc. as I was looking for some to bring to family and friends. We also got the opportunity to taste the local dedicates and stop for pictures or snorkel wherever we wanted.
A little information for those who are looking for someone to rely on regards trips in Seychelles: I have contacted Antoine few weeks before travelling to Seychelles. My husband and I were island hopping and wanted to book trips in each island in advance. Antoine was extremely thorough with what we can choose from, whats included in the price and what is not (like lunch in some trips, but then the guide can take us to a local restaurant) AND quick to reply. All tours we booked through Antoine went splendid.
Attached pictures are some of what we have seen during the Mahe tour.

Soothe your senses in a lush tropical forest setting, home to the award-winning Banyan Tree Spa Seychelles. Against the backdrop of majestic granite Mountains facing the deep azure Indian Ocean, relaxation comes easily at the luxurious hillside pavilions nestled within virgin jungle vegetations. highly skilled therapists devote attentiveness to treatments based on Asian healing traditions.
Set amongst the trees where you can watch the beautiful flying foxes soaring around. The spa is beautiful and instead of the standard piped music you hear the amazing singing of the birds and the roar of the sea. We has massages, foot treatments and hair treatments - all were very good and ended with tea and fruit cocktails as you relaxed taking in the amazing views. Lovely spa.

Well maintained trail. Took me (fit senior) 53 minutes walking time.
Climbs up all the way (about 230mtres vertical).. and steps are not consistent - but reasonably well maintained.
Need hiking shoes
Take water, as high perspiration
Shaded most of the way, but need hat on top.
The viewing platform is safe.
Views all along South Island..stunning!

The beach itself is very beautiful, you can have free parking near by and walk 1 minute though green jungles. Maybe it depends on weather, but when we visit Anse Intendanse in the beginning of June, there were big waves and sign "no swimming" you barely could come into water because flow is quite strong. But it is worth to come and watch as well as other Beaches on Seychelles.

We traveled out to Mahe last week for our son's wedding at the Constance Ephelia, but stayed at the Kempinski. Although a bit off the beaten track it is not that far from the airport or Victoria. We were roundly welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and a cool flannel, which was bliss. Check in was a very civilised affair with a very friendly receptionist telling us where we could eat and what facilities were available. We were then buggied to our accommodation, even though it really was not far from reception. We had the most beautiful suite of rooms overlooking the Gardens and beach. Our suite had a patio Terrace with sun loungers, tables and chairs and we were a stone's throw from the sandy bay. The way the apartments are built give maximum privacy and you would hardly think you were sharing the grounds. The Gardens are meticulously cared for, if there is a downpour and leaves and debris drop, the gardeners are out before the rain stops to clear anything that has fallen. From our room you could walk undercover pretty much all the time, so avoiding really scorching sun or the occasional downpour. We had chosen half board and every evening there would be a different theme to the food. It was fun trying everything. Breakfast were sumptious and you could order freshly cooked food as well as part take of the buffet. Freshly squeezed orange juice was constantly poured into your glass if you wanted it. There were other restaurants to choose from and you could transfer your payment to these to minimise your bill, but the prices were pretty step there. We did eat a couple of times in the Windsong Bar which is right on the water's edge and that was lovely too. I have got to say the level of service and friendliness of the staff was incredible. The receptionist seem to know our name. My husband was ill one day that we were booked to go on a trip and they totally looked after him. Sorting out taxi to take him to the medical centre etc. Our suite was beautiful with a very comfortable, massive bed, two flat screen TV's and everything in it that you could possible want. My only criticism would be the lighting which I found quite dark and particularly in the bathroom, as ladies always need good light for their makeup etc. The lighting is better but you can't stand close to a mirror with a light.
The beach that runs alongside the resort is beautifully unspoilt and you can swim in it just remember to take shoes as the coral can be rough and one person whilst we were there stood on an urchin. Excellent care was taken of him by the beach staff. Close to was a volley ball court where people played every other evening. There is a giant chess set, other people played boules and the swimming pool is not too deep. There were families at the resort, but I have got to say the children were amazingly good and you would hardly have know they were there. There is a happy hour between 5 -7 pm and live entertain which finishes quite early if you want peace and quiet. There were secluded spots for those who wanted privacy, friendly staff and a truly fantastic service. Drinks are very expensive there so we took out some of our own and picked up tonic water from the local supermarkets. You can ask for a buggy up to the entrance gate and walk into the little hamlet not too far. We found an exceptional taxi driver who took us around the island and was pretty reasonable. Seychelle Rupees really seem to be the currency, you can get them from the ATM at the airport or there is one in reception at the hotel. The Constance Ephelia could learn a few tips from the staff at the Kempinski. Brilliant holiday

The road up to Copolia is very windy. It was quite rainy the first day we tried to get there, so we decided against going. We went the next day.
There is no real parking for the trail, when we went, there were around three cars parked near the start of the trail. No bathroom facilities. We did not see the map of the route before going as we parked further along the road I guess.
The trail is nice, and it can get quite steep. It took as an hour to get to the top as we got lost on the way! We went all the way to the place where there is a left arrow on the board. We turned left, however we did not realise that there is ANOTHER STEEP LEFT TURN that goes directly up!!! Instead we carried on going straight. There was an 'x' marked on the rock, telling people to stop, the 'x' was very faded so we didn't spot it. It was quite dangerous as we tried clambering over rocks, after 10 or so minutes we realised there was no safe way forward! We luckily managed to find our way back, and realised the correct route. The top of the trail is an expansive area where you have a panoramic view over the island, on top of a giant granite flat boulder.

Following the advice of a cousin who had surfed with iSurf last year, I contacted James by mail to book Surfing lessons for my three sons (17,19 & 22 yrs) during our holidays at the Seychelles.
From the start the contact was very professional.
James decided day by day which would be the best spot and the best time to surf, always taking into account the boys' different skills. The equipment was excellent. The lessons are not cheap but well worth it.
Thank you, James and Ruben, for the wonderful time our boys had with you !

Not much to see of structures except the remains of buildings that existed during the slave period of Seychelles. What is worth the twisting and steep highway journey to the top is the view of the valley below and the Mountains surrounding the . There are even a gazebo and a number of 3 person benches to sit on to take in the view southward across Mahe. Queen Elizabeth II was reported to have enjoyed a cup of tea from the vista point.

A long sandy stretch of beach with the 'picture postcard' photo opportunities. I visited for a few hours on a local bus it was easy to get to and virtually empty
