Each of them tells the story of dedicated farmers and staff throughout the metamorphosis. This is the only way we can ensure butterflies continue to fly … Pandemic Covid19 had brought about the most disheartening moment here. Our team was torn apart by strict Movement Control Order (MCO) imposed by Malaysian government since 18th March, 2020. Many of our laboratory staffs were locked down at home incapacitating them from rendering their care on thousands of larvae within the laboratories. As the nation embroiled in serious battles with Covid19, the Sanctuary’s only source of income was lost. With negative income and staff reduced to skeleton workforce, operation within laboratories is paralyzed.

Plenty of parking spaces available but try to avoid weekends as many tourist from KL will be here to enjoy the forest. Good for jogging and walking, pets not allowed

Been here with my good secondary school friends. It is a great place for us to learn more about the animal and taking a nice photo with friends and family. Every certain hour, the zoo provides some particular performances regularly in any corner of the zoo. This place is also suitable to visit during the night as the lights will make the surrounding look very beautiful. Very recommended for all animal lovers.

my family and i have been here twice. the kids really love the water playground and enjoy the show. we can also touch the baby crocodile. really fun here!
